Why is it that
the Broncos have one of the top winning percentages ALL-TIME, but each time it seems that you break down all-time records against individual teams we seem to always have a LOSING record?  Something isn't adding up.  Is there a team out there that we are 50-0 against or something?  lol

I was curious too...
From the Broncos 2007 Media Guide:

Things that jump out at me when I look at it are:

  1.  .531 may be one of the highest winnin percentages in the league, but it really isn't high.
  2.  The Titans are one of a handful of teams, including the Chiefs and Raiders, who have significant advantages over us, dating back to their Oiler days.
  3.  We have a winning percentage over .500 against roughly 2/3 of the 32 team league.
  4.  And finally, while looking for this I found the following enlightening stat:  The Broncos are one of only five current NFL teams to have never picked first in the NFL Draft. The other four teams are the Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Seattle Seahawks.  This indicates to me that Denver, unlike some other teams, may not be the biggest winner all of the time, but that they have never been the biggest loser.
Young will get his first rushing TD against the Chiefs. Go Broncos!!

Solid Work Styg!
You can be the MHR Research Department...

The off-season is a great time for all that type of stuff and I have several cool features planned to help get us through the lean, football news times...

Nice job there dude.
Not one of those four other teams who have never had picked first were in existence before 1976.  Hell, three of them were not around before 1994(or 93?)!

We rock.  I don't believe any franchise has above .600 all-time winning percentage.
