Uhm....
It's MNF, why can't you watch it? I'm just surprised...
You can watch it with TVU Player and this link: tvu://51733

Just google a download for TVU, you'll be successfull.

thanks
I don't have a TV.

The only thing I watch is a little sports, and I get that on ESPN 360.

some pregame reading
Mike Sando is filling in for Matt Mosley over at ESPN.  The blog has some good tidbits like age breakdown of the rosters and other stuff that might be of interest as you wait for kickoff.  The address is:  http://myespn.go.com/profile/hashmarks

I love this quote from Mosley on Sunday:
At one point last night, Cowboys kicker Nick Folk, punter Mat McBriar, linebacker Bobby Carpenter, quarterback Tony Romo, tight end Jason Witten and quarterback Vinny Testaverde were all dining at Capital Grille in downtown Charlotte.

According to an eyewitness report, a waitress walked over to a table and said, "Isn't that Nick Folk?"

Broncos inactives
RB - Mike Bell
WR - Brandon Stokely
WR - Taylor Jacobs
OG - Isaac Snell
DL - Larry Birdine
DL - Paul Carrington
LB - Ian Gold
QB - Darrel Hackney (in uniform as #3 QB)

Jamie Winborn is supposed to start for Gold.  I am interested to see how he performs.  Also, Denver has only 3 active WRs (Marshall, Walker and Martinez).

Hi gang!
Of all the nights for my pager to go off!  I'm at work and won't be able to get back to MHR for a few hours.

At least I have ESPN in my office.  I'll only be able to catch bits and pieces of the game, but I'm sure I'll be able to throw out a few comments in a couple of hours if things calm down.

Kill me now . . .
There's no need for Miley Cyrus to have this intro to Monday Night Football.

Jay needs to protect the ball when he
runs. Bad turnover.

Definitely
He was just holding it out there like a loaf of bread.  Secure that thing when you decide to run.

Aaarggh
I cutler fumble was definitely not what we needed.  There are 3 more points left behind.

Whoops,
should be "move" not "penalty."

I see a helmet pop off
And I just assume it was Nate Webster.  Didn't love the 15 yard penalty from Lynch but if that is what it takes to fire up the D it will be worth it.

by MattR on Dec 24, 2007 6:24 PM MST reply actions   0 recs

well, the lynch penalty cost denver 3
Let's see if it comes back to haunt them.

Kick returns have looked good so far
35 yards from Martinez then 30 from Hall.  Took em long enough, but they seem to be getting the return game worked out.

And Ernster's first punt . . .
sucked. Couldn't get any worse than that.

Nick Harris anyone?
He's not having too bad a season in Detroit and he hasn't punched anyone either.

by MattR on Dec 24, 2007 6:37 PM MST up reply actions   0 recs

That drive was
all too easy for the Chargers.

Foxworth is a pretty good CB
and it sounds like he is a really good person and teammate, but I just don't think he is cutout to be a safety.  In fact, I think he may be the person lobbying the team the most to draft a safety this year.

by MattR on Dec 24, 2007 6:44 PM MST reply actions   0 recs

Its gonna be a long night
I'm glad I've been drinking wine for most of the day. Its making this game mostly bearable so far. And foxworth is worthless btw.

Let me encourage teh Chargers
to continue to try and throw the FB screen.  If there is one guy on the offense that does not scare me, it's the FB (whoever it even is)

I apologize in advance
for the upcoming TD from the San Diego fullback.

Before anyone jumps on Ernster
for that 33 yard stinker, just remember that we all wish that every punt versus the Bears was that effective.

Wow
Who still thinks sauerbrun should go?

by binford04 on Dec 24, 2007 7:10 PM MST reply actions   0 recs

I'd really like to see some pass rush
The only times Rivers has been on his butt was when he got tripped up when he ran near a fallen Josh Mallard for no good reason.  That needs to change

by MattR on Dec 24, 2007 7:24 PM MST reply actions   0 recs

Its all about our O-line
Our upfront blocking is toast.  The TEs are both being beat outside by speed, and Kuper, Myers and Holland aren't maintaining their blocks in the interior.  Lepsis has been called for a facemask, but only he and Pears have been maintaining their blocks and keeping the speedy ends off Cutler.  Add in that Henry and Sapp are not half as good at blocking in the backfield as Young is, and Young can get better.

Cutler had better watch out!

That's Christmas?
No way... This game is not worth watching it. At least not at 4 am! I'm going to bed.

All I want for Christmas
is for the Broncos not to be shut out. That INT is not going to help.

Another dismal performance
In a season full of dismal performances. This season cannot end soon enough. Sometimes it is just dreadfully tough to be a fan. Merry Christmas all.

We learned one thing today
Ernster is not the answer. I've seen middle school games that have featured better punting then he put on display this evening.

The thing incensing me more
than the Broncos' abysmal play is the asinine behavior of the Chargers. Cutler, clearly already furious, fails to get a fourth-down conversion and Philip Rivers starts screaming at him with this little self-righteous smirk on his face. Then the Chargers' D starts blatantly gunning for Jay even when he doesn't have the ball. Crass and unsportsmanlike.

So, Rivers, would you have seen Manning or Brady doing that? Would you have said that to Manning or  Brady? Dreadfully classless, and I'm really loathing the Chargers. They need to get smeared. I hope they have to play the Patriots, and I hope the Patriots destroy them.

Merry Christmas all.

Loyal to the purple/black and orange/blue.

Charger's have done squat
No need to recite their lack of playoff wins, just remember that they are "who we thought they were."  A bunch of overhyped jerks who sanction eachother's behavior.  LT needs to watch out.  He used to be a classy guy, but the more he hangs around Rivers the more he acts like him.

River's is exactly the kind of guy who is first to gloat after a win and first to whine after a loss or bad call.

He was getting in Cutler's face tonight because he knows he won't get the chance again.  In the long run Philip Rivers won't even be able to get a sniff of Cutler's jock...

That was one bidgdud.

I am gone for a week,
but we suck.  The Broncos need their pride hurt.  I hope the Chargers continue to embarrass this team, because they ARE an embarrassment.  I can't wait to see this season end...the sooner the better.

Pathetic...Merry freakin Christmas Broncomaniacs!  Now hurry and go stomp out that brown paper bag that is burning on your front porch! (The paper bag is synonymous with "The 2007 Denver Broncos")

a SanDiego SN blog?  I really want to go give them crap about Rivers, but alas! there is nowhere to turn!

I'm in the Philippines, after 30 hours of travel.
I got here too late to watch the game, oh well it has been a long season.  I will proably be swimming in the ocean every day for the next month, but my best enjoyment will come from hearing about how the Chargers get creamed in the playoffs!
