(CBS4) DENVER A man described by Denver police as a "person of interest" in the murder of Denver Bronco Darrent Williams was taken into federal custody in connection to what's believed to be a drug related case.
Willie Clark, 23, was arrested in January for violation of his parole. He was released by the Colorado Department of Corrections Thursday. He was then arrested by federal authorities.
Clark's DNA was taken by Denver police in February while he was in jail on unrelated charges to the Williams murder. Clark's lawyer said at the time he thought the officers were trying to link Clark to the Chevy Tahoe thought to have been used in the Williams' shooting.
No one has been charged so far in the murder of Williams.
