Well Fellas Jim Bates is Officially gone. I would have liked to see him for one more year but he is now gone.

 Andrew Mason reported this today on the teams website. Jim Bates officially steps down.  Who will we get to coach our young promising Defense?

I don't know what to think of this.  What do you guys think?  I mean the guys D blew this year and everyone was saying he deserved another year.  But did he really?  We got blown out way to many times with to much talent.

 I would love to see us bring in a 3-4 guy and let DJ Williams get after the QB like Merriman in SD.Draft a couple young studs at LB,S,and DT and we got ourselves a pretty solid Defense.  

I don't know why I just love the 3-4 if you think about it most of the teams who have won Championships lately have been 3-4 type defenses. New England, Pittsburgh, ETC...

What do you guys think Good or Bad move?
