We need Larry Johnson?
As the trade deadline approaches, there are a few good players on bad teams that can be moved.
Yahoo Sports is reporting on the available players on bad teams. There are some big names on the list, but the writer concludes that Denver needs a few of the players out there. Larry Johnson was the most surprising to me, but I want to know what you think.

In addition to Hall, Pittman,m Young and Torain, add Hillis and Larsen. Larry Johnson would take too much money that’s needed to sign Prater and others in the next few years. Cutler will be a free agent after 2010, and so will Marshall.

I voted "no, Young, Pittman, Hall, Torain"
but I would certainly welcome LJ if we could get him for a song.

I wouldn't have a problem with that
I am sure the Broncos front office is very busy scouting these guys and putting together data on the types of deals they can absorb and what they would expect to get in return.
Off hand I don’t think we would get enough bang for the buck for most trades pick for player trades, but a player for player trade could happen, you never know…

I agree about price, but Mdierk is right too.
One of the guys I would love to have on that list is T.J. Houshmandzadeh.
This guy is awsome and a class act in the locker room as well. With TJ, the Broncos could let Djax go and have a dynamic duo in Marshall and Houshmandzadeh. This could free up royal more for the return game which was his primary role when first drafted. Royal can still be used in the passing game, but can you just imagine Cutler to TJ and Marshall? WoW!
I wouldnt mind a DT in a trade either, but Housh would be awsome!

It will never happen....
KC will not trade thier best player to a division rival. Add in the selfishness and whining he tends to do, this is the last guy to come to this team.

Agreed
As stated in the other fanpost about mid-season trades, LJ is not the type of character that we need on this team. He’s too selfish and is a horrible blocker.
He’s too much of a “me first” player that would just not fit into the good character movement that Shanny is instilling in this team.

I would rather have a DT brought in
I think DT is more of a weakness

What man actually needs is not a tensionless state but rather the striving and struggling for some goal worthy of him. What he needs is not the discharge of tension at any cost, but the call of a potential meaning waiting to be fulfilled by him.

No to LJ
It would definitely ruin the locker room. I’d stick with Young, Pittman, Hall and Torain. I’d rather see the Broncos go for a DT or how about a true NT now that they’re integrating a 3-4 Defense. Also, I read on profootballtalk.com that the Broncos were interested in Leonard Little from the Rams. The Rams were not willing to trade him though. If no strings are pulled, I’m sure the Defense will (gulp) be alright and continue to improve…or is that just the kool-aid kicking in? However, GO BRONCOS!!!!!!

He is a piece of crap. He whines when he doesnt get the rock, and right now it seems as if the Broncos are a pass first team. He is not a team player he is a me player

My name is papigrande and I approve this message.
I cannot STAND LJ. He is a whiny piece of trash and deserves no place on our team. This reminds me of the time all the MSM guys (John Clayton) wanted us to get Terrell Owens. Not happenin’.
4-1.
