Hello neighbors, I'm watching Bears at Falcons
I’m not very interested in either team, but I would like to see how Matt Ryan performs against a super tough D. Plus, Sam Baker is a starting OLT for Atlanta, curious to see how he compares to Clady.
I hope Earl Bennett gets off the bench, I have him on my FF but I haven’t started him yet. He hasn’t done anything so far this season. I am also interested in Matt Forte, I was hoping Denver would draft him.
Oh well, if the game gets too boring I can always do some carpentry or painting or do some homework.
Sean,
I’m following the CAR at TB game. I’ve got CAR in the MHR staff picks, while two of the other leaders went with TB.
"Greater is an army of sheep led by a lion, than an army of lions led by a sheep" Defoe
As soon as I type the above comment though,
…TB scores scores on a blocked punt that is recovered by TB for a TD.
UGLY!

Bengals
already with an early lead after a Bengal stripped the ball from Favre and one of the defenders picked it up (Antwan Odom, I think) and ran it in for the TD.

These early games have to be the least interesting of any set this season
Hardly a single game worth watching. Besides Tampa and Carolina, and Indy-Baltimore maybe.
Predictions before the season began: 11-5 and a top five offense (I was probably too conservative).

Miami is scary again...
10-C.Pennington pass deep middle to 38-P.Cobbs for 53 yards, TOUCHDOWN. (Direct snap to MIA #23, who handed to MIA #34, who handed to MIA #10, who threw the pass.)
I think
that mathematically they will eventually run out of possible uses for that play….but they are pushing it..

now he’s blaming an almost interception on the fact that lelie, walker, and russell haven’t been together much. No, he underthrew a slant that was covered over the top by a SAF and the CB underneath was directly in his hip pocket. Not a good call.

JR_G, Actually, when I was in the desert of Kuwait, Qatar was

For a guy who alternates between sitting in an apartment room and sitting in a trailer on site it’s not great(there are only so many times you can eat at the same 5 restaurants). it is hard to picture with their recent history, but Flacco is a good QB and they have a running game. It is a somewhat timid offense, due to structured playcalling to protect flacco’s development, but watch some highlights of it: it is the real thing!

New Orleans
does this neat thing where they run a heavy offensive run set right before they get into the red zone, then they go into a no huddle, forcing the defensive big uglies to stay in until they either call a timeout or score.

Lousy franchises shouldn't be allowed to hog up all the good draft choices
What if SD gets to draft in the top ten along with KC and oakland? We better capitalize on our hot streak before they all reload

Cutler says the biggest difference between
college and the pros is how much film is available, and how diligent players are about watching it. Mental note to self: take note of scouted players with a reputation for film study (ala royal, Cutler)

Saints got to my predicted score for them
now oakland needs to score 33 unanswered to get my score for them… :)

anybody ever given much thought to
jacksonville’s poor 1st round draft record, specifically under Del Rio? It was suggested that he might be out if he doesn’t turn that trend around (coupled with one playoff win in 6 years). Reminds me of Guru’s take on Shanny’s drafts, which eventually got turned around. Anybody think that firing delrio would be premature, even if he has a couple more bust years with his 1st rounders?

J'ville WR drafts have been one dimensional
All they ever go for are ultra-big possession receivers. Receiving corps need diversity, like we currently have.

I agree
It should be interesting to see how we fare without Royal and Sheffler.
Predictions before the season began: 11-5 and a top five offense (I was probably too conservative).

Yes, they need to be evaluated before the playoffs.
If they can’t execute then replacements should be looked at or if that isn’t feasible then more game planning for the producers could be another option

KOA reporting that...
Pacman is likley to be suspended by the NFL early this week. This leaves DAL without both of their starting CBs.
"Greater is an army of sheep led by a lion, than an army of lions led by a sheep" Defoe
DAL deserves it
just like we deserved every painful minute of Henry’s tenure. Glad that is over with, and Cowboys should performa similar split with pacman.
