Around SBN: Jeremy Lin's Game-Winner Was Incredible, Worth Remembering

Five GOOD Things So Far In 2008

  1. First Place in AFC West
  2. NO BLOWOUT LOSSES
  3. 1-0 VS. San Diego Chargers
  4. Young Players + Inconsistent Play = Only Going to Get Better Over Time
  5. The Defense has Shown Up Two Weeks in a Row!

One more thing.

Gerrard was 24/28 passing the ball. Then we switched to a more aggressive defense…Gerrard finished the game 1/6. Let’s hope Slowik sticks to what is working…not with what HAS NOT BEEN WORKING! If he does, then that will be good as well!!! :)

I saw somewhere else that we started with a 3-4

then switched to a 4-3. I wonder how much this coincided with Garrard’s reduced effectiveness.

I would

almost consider the loss to KC a blowout. that was a pittiful display of playing down to the worst team in the NFL.

Great points, however, and I, too, would like to see a more aggressive D. They’ve appeared to have been afraid of giving up the big pass when blitzing, but I think they have to take that chance- and should do it early- to keep the QB from getting into a rhythm and gaining any confidence/comfort. They’ve got to do something different, because what they have done so far has been mostly ineffective.

Frack, frackin' fracker!

The blowout only happened after the failed onside kick...that game was much closer than the final score.

In spite of how horrible we played…we almost pulled it off.

True, and

we were in it to the end against J-ville. Despite all of our disappointment over this last game, the Broncos are MUCH better off than last year, and are showing signs of improving each week.
