Horse Tracks 10/14/08

Horsetracksnew_medium

Here's a Tuesday edition of Horse Tracks.  Enjoy!

Jim Armstrong talked about the turnovers.  See here

Armstrong also had some other notes.  See here

Woody Paige suggested that the Broncos should panic a little.  See here

Sam Adams discussed the misses the Broncos had.  See here

Adams also added some musings too.  See here

Mark Kiszla had some thoughts on the youth and mistakes of Denver's stars.  See here

Mike Klis answered some angry letters.  See here

There were way too many "what ifs" used in the two Bronco losses.  See here

Champ Bailey has been largely ignored this season by the opposition.  See here

Brandon Stokley just rang up his 10th concussion.  See here

While Denver is 4-2, the stats show they ought to have a worse record.  See here

If it is any consolation, most of the "good" NFL teams had losses this past week.  See here

There were some former Broncos that made some plays Sunday....in CANADA!  See here

Dre Bly was complaining about the officials.  Piece of advice, Dre, make some plays instead of whining.  See here

That's all I have.  I had the flu last week so Horse Tracks got interrupted.  Sorry about that.  Enjoy the rest of your day.

Was that "our" Lenny Walls

at running back?

He moved from being known as the tallest CB in the NFL to the skinniest RB in the CFL!

That makes sense

the article also mentions that “Burris [QB, I assume] hit Jeremaine Copeland for an 18-yard major” whatever that is.

That Woody Paige article

is absolutely terrible. Trash.

It does a decent job being critical of the Bronco’s mistakes on offense, but this is just used as a springing point into a hate-filled personal attack on Cutler. It won’t even refer to him by name. Woody Paige is a coward.

What would Paige have Cutler do? Panic, make a bad throw into a double covered receiver in attempt to force a play, and throw a pick-6 that ACTUALLY ends the game? Yeah, that’s a great plan Woody. Panic IS the solution. That’s exactly what Elway would do now, right? Say “OH MY GOODNESS I’M PANICKING” and then just flail the ball around the field without a clear, calm plan of action.

Every once in a while

Woody looks something up in the dictionary, and then decides that he just MUST write an article with that word in it. He makes a better bronco homer than basher, he’s no good at the bashing game.

Now Kiszla, HE knows how to bash the Broncos.

Mountains, forest, sea: these render man fierce, but yet do not destroy the man.

thats why

I dont read the denver papers anymore. I got tried of after last season. Final straw was bashing Carmelo Anthony. I am tired of the lazy denver press

somethings wrong, Trying to conquer these fears i thought were gone. And it's been so long, I'm dying to live in a world i don't belong

10th concussion for Stokley....that's a lot

I hope he is cleared to play Sunday because I don’t know about the other WRs and TEs. I guess I’ll just have to pray that some of them play Friday.

One thing about the MNF game is that I hope we just don’t turn the ball over…….hold onto that ball really tight guys.

I just hope he doesn't get another one by coming back too soon

That could be the end of his career and he could be a vegetable sooner than 50!

He needs to seriously think about whether it’s worth it to continue.

I loved the apology

from Dr. Z in the ranking at 14. We better put up some points against NE.
