Jay Cutler Talks About His 'Elway' Comments

Lee Rasizer, who spends time each week answering questions for us here at MileHighReport, spent a couple minutes with Jay Cutler talking about his John Elway comments. You can read the entire column HERE, but here are some of the highlights -

Cutler's reaction to how the comments were received -

It was hit or miss. Some people agreed, some people didn't agree and some people were upset with it. It caused a little stir.

On whether he regrets making the comments -

No, not at all. I didn't know it was going to be quite this much, and I can't be 100 percent sure that I have a stronger arm than him. But I'm not going to say I don't.

On the context of the question -

We were joking around and stuff, sitting around. But I'm not going to take it back, I'm going to say that I do. I'm confident in my arm. And so that's how it's going to go.

Apparently, Broncos fans have no problem with the comments. In the Poll I ran in this post, over 900 fans responded to whether or not Cutler's comments were ok or not. 75% had no problem with them.

Perhaps this will put the issue to bed. All I want Jay Cutler to do i win football games. That starts this week in New England.

Of course, the “journalists” did not report that facet of the interview. It’s not as interesting that way, or something, I guess.

Who cares if Cutler thinks he has a stronger arm. How about this to the media if you dont like the answer dont ask the question. What did they think he was gonna say? No John has a way stronger arm than me? I am glad he has confidence. Now he will start winnng games. This is why the public has been turning on the MSM

They forgot to say he was "joking around'

Can’t say I am not surprised with that. However I do agree with bfsisd on the fact that “who cares” It personally didn’t bother me and I am going to leave it at that.
