Bailey Might Actually Get Thrown At

Another fan brought this up and i wanted your opinions on this. With us playing a team with a polarizing player like Randy Moss it is very likely that Champ might actually get thrown at this week. Do you guys think this will give him a chance to prove to everyone that he is the best CB in the league or do you think that Cassel will still avoid him and not throw to Randy.

After watching film of Denver's Defense,

Belichick will say to himself, “If Champ is locked up on Moss, why risk throwing it to him, when it appears that Champ is the only good player on the whole defense. It looks like we can do whatever else we want – run it, dink and dunk it, iso other CBs or safeties.”

Well

its like if he does when Champ is on Moss it will be picked. Cassel was 1/8 last week in passes 10 yards and over. Continually underthrew Moss. If he does that with Champ on him it will be picked off. It would be nice to get a pick. I forgot what those were like for denvers defense.

The reason i think that he will try throwing at Moss is because i dont think Moss’s ego can handle not being throw to.

Maybe he’ll move Moss to the side of the field that Bailey won’t cover like KC did with Dwayne Bowe.

That's what I was gonna say :)

We don’t send Champ around after the best receiver so they will likely move the best receiver away from Champ.

I would love to see Champ get his hand on a pick

and I think it is possible if he lines up against Moss. We need to get some picks or passes defensed on the other side in order for balls to get thrown Champ’s way. At this point I will take a pick from anybody in the secondary for that matter.

moss is in a rut !

  I dont think NE has a choice right now but to try to throw to moss bailey covering him or
  not . with there current state of offensive production they need to create some kind of
  offensive spark between cassel and moss soon before everything turns to shit real
   fast. moss numbers are way down this year . like when he played for oakland faders.
   so expect NE to try to go to moss early monday nite to try to get something going quick.
