A thought experiment (to help distract you from the pain)
Like most of you I have questions about decisions the Broncos have made in the past couple years - play calls, game plans, roster moves, etc. All the media coverage in the world can't tell fans the reasons why teams make most of these decisions (In this case, this is not a knock on the media. It is just the reality of teams' secrecy)
So my question is this - If you could be a fly in the wall in Shanahan's office and could hear the reasoning and back and forth behind the Broncos decisions but you could not repeat that info to anyone, would you want to know it? Or would having that knowledge without being able to share it be torture?

Good job getting something constructive up Matt
I’ll tune in in the morning to give more thoughts on this. Firstfan, Arctic and JonT can probably testify to the VHF and weather radio alarms going off around these parts with 70-80mph winds coming off the gulf over the next couple of days. Time to dog the hatches and batten the doors! If I learn anything useful in this process I’ll turn it over to the Broncos. They might need it.
On a side note, if it weren’t for talking myself and my wife into the value of staying home and watching the Broncos this monday I would probably be out in this storm, trying to cross the strait to get back home in a couple of days… Guess the loss is good for something…

Yes, the loss was good for something.....
Bad games make you appreciate the good games.
I hope Anchorage doesn’t get hit by high winds again. The winds of >100 MPH several Fridays ago did a bit of damage to my shingles.

Glad you're safe.
Arctic and I teamed up to watch this disaster at the Peanut Farm. I hope some of you guys with high-tech equipment can look at this debacle and explain why we cannot stop the run (or pass, your choice). Mostly I’m just glad you stayed to watch.

I always look for positives. The crowd at the Peanut Farm
is definitely pro-Denver, the place was blue and orange as far as the eye could see. I am very glad to know that we don’t have a bunch of Pats band-wagon jumper-oners around here.
There was a girl with a McCaffrey jersey and we sat next to a table of people who had Kuper jerseys. Turns out that Kuper is relatedt o them by marriage. Plus, Firstfan caught a Miller Beer t-shirt that was thrown by a cute Miller Beer Girl!

That's just because I got position on you.
It looked like that interception in the third period.

Fly on the wall?
I don’t think I would want to be anywhere near Coach Shanahan’s office for the next couple of days. If my name was Hall I would be preparing my resume and packing my clothes, which is too bad, because i like the kid. If I was a fly, I would lay damn low as Coach will be swatting a lot in the next two weeks.

I am glad I am not him
I didn’t really pay too much attention to the game after we went down l13-0, however (correct me if I am wrong) I didn’t see him carry the ball once after he fumbled the ball for the second time.

Yeah, maybe not this week
But this is one of those questions that goes through my mind related to a whole bunch of things. Like, would I want to learn about something highly secret/classified (let’s say the Kennedy assassination) if I couldn’t tell anyone what I learned. And obviously I have thought about this related to the Broncos many times and long before tonight.
Of course my answer to the question is not one of the poll choices I listed. I think I would want to know little bits of info about the Broncos (ex. their preliminary thoughts on players they want to keep for next year), but I wouldn’t want to know all the details. I don’t think it would be fun to have that knowledge and not be able to discuss or even mention it.

Andre Hall may have just ruined his chances in Denver. He seemed to be a more straight up guy than Selvin Young. What I mean by that is less of a loud mouth. lol
I need one more day to consider what truly happened because I weigh into this game.

Selvin should really have a great finish
since he guaranteed 2,000 yds rushing. Cutler won’t need an index finger. He will just hand off to Young,

I would vote yes.
But I would have to work very hard to keep my word and write my stories accordingly.

I would take this offer in a heartbeat. Never pass up an opportunity for personal growth. Even if I couldn’t share the information with the rest of you guys, I would be a smarter person and a smarter fan, and that would trickle down to everything that I was allowed to talk about.
