Peter King on Brandon Marshall (and his glove)

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writers/peter_king/11/09/week10/1.html

In this week's Monday Morning QB, Peter King dedicates an entire page to Brandon Marshall, his glove celebration idea (which Marshall ran past King beforehand) and the feelings of some NFL players about the election. I don't want to make this a political conversation, as King and Marshall did not themselves. But it's just another example of Marshall's ongoing maturation and a window into who he is becoming. Yes, he's certainly had his problems...but at the age of 24 and as a WR (that's already starting from behind in the public image department) he's showing a lot. He's growing up and I know this sounds trite, but it's nice to know that he THINKS. Seeing his postgame interview on NFL.com and reading this article (plus the article in the NY Times a few weeks ago) make me want to root just that much harder for him, as both a player and a person.
