Quarterback JAY CUTLER of the Denver Broncos and running back ADRIAN PETERSON of the Minnesota Vikings are the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week for games played on November 6 - 10, the NFL announced today.
Jay Cutler threw for 447 yards and three touchdowns completing 24 of 42 passes in the Broncos' 34 - 30 win over the Cleveland Browns on NFL Network's Thursday Night Football.
Adrian Peterson rushed for 192 yards and one touchdown on 30 attempts in the Vikings' 28 - 27 win over the Green Bay Packers.
Cutler and Peterson were selected from among six finalists in Air and Ground categories. The other FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week finalists were quarterbacks PEYTON MANNING of the Indianapolis Colts and KURT WARNER of the Arizona Cardinals, and running backs THOMAS JONES of the New York Jets and MAURICE JONES-DREW of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fans voted for more than their favorite players. The weekly FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week Awards are also a win for local communities. Along with the player awards, FedEx is making a $1,000 donation in the winning players' names to the local Safe Kids USA coalitions in Denver and Minneapolis to support pedestrian safety efforts. Safe Kids USA is a national non-profit organization that works to prevent accidental injury among children. This season, FedEx plans to surpass the $1 million mark in terms of charity donations they have made to deliver safe kids through the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Player of the Week Awards program.
During the week leading up to Super Bowl XLIII, FedEx plans to announce the 2008 FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Year in Tampa Bay. FedEx will also make a special delivery for the Tampa Safe Kids chapter, as well as make a special donation in the winning players' names to Safe Kids USA.

Voters on NFL.com and via Sprint wireless service have made their choice. Wide receiver EDDIE ROYAL of the Denver Broncos is the DIET PEPSI NFL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK for games played on November 6 - 10, the NFL announced today.
Royal totaled 164 receiving yards on six receptions including a 93-yard touchdown catch in the Broncos' 34 - 30 win over the Cleveland Browns on NFL Network's Thursday Night Football.
Royal was selected from among five finalists through fan votes on NFL.com/rookies and via Sprint wireless service. The other finalists were quarterback JOE FLACCO of the Baltimore Ravens, running back BEN JARVUS GREEN-ELLIS of the New England Patriots, tackle JAKE LONG of the Miami Dolphins and quarterback MATT RYAN of the Atlanta Falcons.
After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Diet Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies and via Sprint wireless service throughout the month of January. The winner will be announced at a press conference at Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa Bay.
This is Pepsi's seventh year as the official soft drink sponsor of the NFL and the fourth year that Diet Pepsi will present the NFL Rookie of the Week and NFL Rookie of the Year awards.

They both had awesome games and the award is well deserved. Like boydy says, we need to take this momentum into Sunday.
