1. Clady- Possible all-pro left tackle
2. Royal- Great return man and potential pro-bowler
3. Hillis- can do everything
4. Larsen- hardly missed a play today; we might have our mike
5. Williams- stepping up huge on the blitz
6. Lichtensteiger- played good when he was in on the goal-line packages
In addition to those, we also have Woodyard and Bell (both undrafted doing a very good job) and Torrain and Powell returning next year.

it looks like Moss is gradually turning into the DE we hoped we were getting when we drafted him. I noticed he was in on a lot of downs today.

When all our linebackers went down it looked like we were dead in the water
but the backups have been incredible. Larson was so much better than Koutouvides (a major disappointment; I was one of his fans) or Webster, for that matter. He just has football sense, never mind his slow 40 speed. Our drafting the last three years is looking better and better. This year especially we’ve hit on player after player. Somebody deserves kudos for a helluva job! These kids have really stepped up.

The difference is Larsen's speed on the field
He had to impress you there. If you watch Larsen’s form during the 40, you can see the reason for the slow track speed.

I think he has good football instincts, which is an important part of football speed. In fact, his instincts are pretty remarkable for a rookie. This is another example why you shouldn’t draft players solely on their combine measurables.
