Each year, I have given my thoughts and expertise a run for their money by publicly making my picks for each game every week. To add a twist, the fine contributors of MileHighReport have agreed to do the same, along with my lovely wife, with the winner laying claim to the Title of "Best Game Picker On MHR Until Next Year..." or something like that.

Guru got one of the picks I overlooked late.
But I was read for action. Here’s the story I was going to go with:
Until Guru gets here with his posts for the Broncos games and the staff picks, here’s an open thread for every one to discuss the early games.
Here are the early match-ups:

(MHR University has sent a search and rescue unit to locate and extract Guru. We have no reason to believe he has fallen into the hands of the raiders. We did receive our last beacon from him at 12:45 this afternoon about verifying picks, so we think he’s ok). : )

i just saw the replay, pretty sweet
the pass was pretty incredible in my mind, the guy was running to his right and tossed it perfect in stride, only about 35 yards downfield but still impressive for a non QB

Yeah. It's bullcrap.
But I have practice today from 3-5. I think it’s because of the playoffs. We have a game Wednesday, so we have to practice on the weekend to get ready for it.

I’ve been wondering two things. #1 What inspired your name, and #2 Where did you get your makeup done at?
The name came from Madden. When I signed up for an Xbox acount I tried to get a specific name and it told me that name wasn’t available but UnarmingMermaid was (which wasn’t even kind of close to the name I was trying to get). Anyway, my buddies and I had consumed a few beers and thought that was pretty funny so I went with it. I kept it on here so anybody would know where to go for a solid game of Madden.
I know you’re kidding about the makeup. I assume you know that’s Philip Rivers painted like the Joker. Which I found appropriate becuase Rivers is a joker and a clown.
