What happened to Rod mentoring him? I like a person like him helping Marshall out, i know this as it states was a chance meeting but i dont like the idea of Marshall taking advice from Irvin, last thing we need is him getting a connection for crack.

I don't like how Marshall kept appealling

to Irvin’s HOF status. In my opinion, Irvin’s HOF status is bogus, and he is one of the last people who should have been considered….

There are more worthy WR’s not in the h-o-f. (Andre Reed). Irvin is a pos and I cant stand the guy. Nice person for Marshall to look up to.

On the other hand guys,

…Marshall is a young receiver in this League, and he’s going to be awed by someone with Irving’s star power (deserved or not). I don’t think the dinner meeting will ruin Brandon, and the advice was probably sound anyway. Brandon’s a star struck kid, and that’s ok.

Marshall has been taken under some pretty good wings in Denver, and I’m thinking (knock on wood) that he’s going to be ok.
