The NFL will utilize "flexible scheduling" on Sundays in Weeks 11-17. Flexible scheduling will ensure quality matchups in all NFL Sunday time slots in those weeks and give teams a chance to play their way onto primetime and into the late-afternoon 4:15 PM ET time slot on CBS and FOX.
For each of the flexible scheduling weeks with the exception of Week 17, the NFL will announce the start times of games on Sundays no later than 12 days prior to that weekend. To ensure a Sunday night game and doubleheader games with playoff implications in Week 17, the flexible scheduling decision for that Sunday may be made on six days notice.

yeah
Glad to see this, and I just noticed it on the schedule. I promise not to indulge in a mini-lecture on Circadian rhythms but it’s actually a very good thing that the game is now later.

Better bring it.
Big time stage… another opportunity to show what they have on another level. Love it!! My Sunday Ticket is still in EFFECT! All Ready!

Well now the game won't be televised in SD
because the Chargers play at the same time…..CRAP.

Are you sure?
according to the schedule above, SD plays at 1EST, and Denver plays at 4:15EST. Sounds like the second leg of a double header that will be seen in SD.
But… according to this link the SD area will be blacked out for the second half of the double header, which is one of the oddball rules regarding affiliates showing a local game. I checked ahead on the schedule on the TV I will be watching, (a SD channel) and so far so good, but something might change at the last second….
Concision in style, precision in thought, decision in life.

Hooray!
The game is on in my area! I checked the506.com site, then checked my local stations web site. It’s about time I get a Denver game!

My bad
I was thinking of the game against the Jets tomorrow. That won’t be on TV.
On the link you provided, there will be no second game on CBS tomorrow because when the Chargers play down here, they don’t televise another game at the same time. The one funny thing about the SD/ATL game is that the local Fox station had to buy the remaining tickets so there wouldn’t be a blackout.
