Injuries?

Is it just me or do the rash of injuries (groins, hamstrings, etc.) along with the trend the Broncos have lately (past few years) of playing poorly in the second half of the season go hand in hand with the strength and conditioning coordinator? I am no trainer or Doctor and  maybe the injuries are just "freak", but it just seems to me the players are not in the condition they need to be to go through the rigors of an NFL season.  The Broncos have started hot the past two years only to see their play diminish as the season wears on.  They do not get better as the seasons goes on, they plateau, if not get worse in some cases.  If they were in better condition, they would be better able to handle the wear and tear of a season and be mentally sharp throughout the year.  Is the off season training getting too lax?  During the Super Bowl years, the Broncos were one of the most lean, ripped, and best conditioned teams there were.  Now they are one of the smallest, oft injured, out physicaled teams there are? I just hope this is not the case again this year.
