Me too

I felt this way last week too. It reminds me of the feeling we had when my HS team won state, it didn’t matter what was going on we just couldn’t lose. We had no fear even going into the 4th quarter of the semi finals down by 28.

by BroncoJoe87 on Dec 14, 2008 3:52 PM MST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Bailey on Smith would have helped a lot.

But the run defense is doing better than I expected.

Jeeze.

To even be 8-5 is a testament to Cutler’s skill.

That sucked.

However, everyone needs to chill. I sarcastically posted that we should cut half our roster and most agreed and discussed semantics.

We’re a young team on the road against one of the best teams in the NFL. Furthermore, we have been great in the second half and good on the road. This is not over.

Terrible playcalling at the end of the half.

Justrun out the clock that deep in your own end of the field. I knew a turnover would happen. Both of the KOA radio guys where saying (before the fumble), “I don’t think this is a good idea”.

BAILEY DOES NOT COVER A SPECIFIC GUY. HE ONLY COVERS ONE SIDE OF THE FIELD.

I don’t understand the love for Bailey. He hurts this team.

How do you figure?

And shutting down half the field makes it a hell of a lot easier to defend the other half.

He likes playing zone.

Which does not benefit this team as its constructed now. When we had a beastly D-Line in 05, he was able to jump routes. Not now, when we need solid man to man coverage.

I very much disagree.

Bailey is the furthest thing from a zone CB one can get. He’s been playing over coverage because we haven’t been using safeties in deep zones, but that’s hardly his fault.

We are not that type of a team. Against weaker teams, maybe… but not today and we have Cutler and Selvin to thank for, and ofcourse Shanny for handing the ball to Selvin instead of a kneel down at the end of the 1st half…
