Raiders (former Bronco) Ashley Lelie on IR

According to the Associated Press, WR Ashlie Lelie (another Denver cast off) has gone on IR in Oakland.

Funny how the Raider's organization hates Denver, but respects Denver enough to take our rejects.  More funny, is how this site warns Oakland of the risks of taking injury prone players and bad characters (because we care), and Oakland never listens and has to pay the price time and again.  Funnier still, this isn't a big news item.  Why?  The Rrrrrrrraiders are so deep in the basement at this point, no news out of the team has any relevance.

And nothing hurts the Raiders more than being irrelevant.

Are the Raiders still in the NFL???

I thought they pulled out due to a lack of interest.

One "cast off" I would like back

Would be Gerard Warren. He was a good DT (Just not according to Bates).

Victor Frankl:

What man actually needs is not a tensionless state but rather the striving and struggling for some goal worthy of him. What he needs is not the discharge of tension at any cost, but the call of a potential meaning waiting to be fulfilled by him.

Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms – to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.

Any time they want to cast off their CB (I will save butchering his name), I am alll for Denver snayching him up

Did they ever actually put Javon Walker on IR or is there hope he will actually play a down for them, I am curious how much a reception cost the Raiders this year.

I will say it again.

I saw some of that game yesterday. Justin Fargas is a PLAYER. That guy plays HARD. If we can pick him up in the offseason I say we do it! I am starting a “let’s get Justin Fargas” campaign.

Col. Sandurz: Prepare ship for light speed!
Dark Helmet: No, no, no, light speed is too slow!
Col. Sandurz: Light speed, too slow?!
Dark Helmet: Yes, we're gonna have to go right to . . . ludicrous speed!
Col. Sandurz: Ludicrous speed?! Sir, we've never gone that fast before. I don't know if the ship can take it.
Dark Helmet: What's the matter Colonel Sandurz? Chicken?
