All I wanted was for this team to keep it close...

but as soon as they dectivated Pinnock the wriring was on the wall. they played webster, DJ and Winborn when our best at LB had been WW and Larsen.
Play Larsen at FB and we have not seen him yet, and we then play soft zone all night…
The rookies have been let down by this coaching staff….SLowik frickin sucks, and Shanny needs to make some hard decisions and hire some difference makers on his staff.
No good having great drafts if your coaching staff can reap havoc.
It is unacceptable, and coaching bhas set this team back 2 years

we’ve only played one game well this year on both sides, and that was against the jets. our fast start was because of our O. the D has been exposed all year. Once our offense started turning it over we have no chance since our D cant stop anything. our players are out of position most of the time. i know our players love slowlik, but he needs to go. his schemes are horrible. everyone just picks us apart.

i think shanahan should move permanently to GM or President and hire a whole new coaching staff. regardless our the defensive pains i am happy for cutler and emergence of royal. happy holidays everyone!

It's balance

We have NO offensive balance. We don’t have a dangerous RB that SD has to worry about. They will give up a few yards on the ground. They are just sitting back and waiting for a pass to pick off. It’s looking that way to me.

Also, no play-action whatsoever from the Broncos. Jay has been in the shotgun all game.

But this game so far has been squarely the defense’s fault. You can’t let them score on 4 straight possesions (TD’s on 3 of them) and expect for the game to be close. It looks like they have no interest in trying to blitz, just letting River’s sit back and carve them up for huge yards. Slowik isn’t doing his job. He probably should be shitcanned

I hate that we’ve gone through two DC in so many seasons, but he IS NOT DOING HIS JOB!

This team is truly awful

You just simply cannot be that bad on defense. We don’t even look like a real NFL team on defense. The Chargers can sit back and literally do whatever they please to our defense. Champ looks like he is on the decline and we have not one single player on defense I wouldn’t mind seeing gone next year.

What pisses me off the absolute most though is that we cannot even come out and compete against the Chargers after having a historic collapse to even be in this situation. We have zero pride it seems and it is extremely hard to be proud of anything this team is doing right now.

I don’t want to hear the excuses. Oh we are rebuildling, oh we lost runningbacks, oh we are better then most people thought. Bullsh!t. This team has a long, long way to go and we don’t belong anywhere near the playoffs. If anyone thinks that firing Shannahan is not a viable option at this point you are simply delusional. We may not do it, but if you do not think that is a viable option I don’t know what to say. The “mastermind’s” act has gotten old real quick. 10 years since Elway?

I somewhat agree

The Offense is great (not awesome yet), it’s the D that’s holding us back. I think we’re just a high profile Defense Coordinator away (a new special teams coach couldn’t hurt) away from being a contender. Champ is clearly still hurting and perhaps D.J. Williams is as well

You can't be a blind supporter

What is going on with this proud Broncos franchise right now is embarassing to say the least. Broncos Nation cannot stand for this. We are getting smacked around like a college team out there. The level of play and intensity of play from this Broncos squad has dropped off considerably. We never make adjustments, we just continue to get beat over the head by the same stuff.
