Broncos' O-Line gets some love.
You are about to witness MHR history. For thr first time in any forum I, Trinidad Jack, am about to attempt to insert a link. Maestro, a drum roll please...
...ta da!
I think it may have worked! I'm amazed even if you aren't. You have no idea how intimidated I was.
Anyway, if you follow this llink you should be able to find an article by Peter King of Sports Illustrated in an article that can be found at Fox Sports. In it he lists his top five offensive lines. Take a gander. I don't think you'll be too surprised but I believe you'll be pleased.
This is a Fan-Created Comment on MileHighReport.com. The opinion here is not necessarily shared by the editorial staff of MHR

Nicely done Mr. Jack...
worked like a charm (oh…and good article too).
I’m comfortable with links…it’s inserting pictures that gives me butterflies. ;-)
GO BRONCOS!!!

I don't think I'm up to that yet.
Maybe after a few margaritas, lol.

And the great thing is...
…when you’re with your grand kids and talking about this MHR moment, you’ll be able to say, “Yes, I was there when Trinidad Jack posted his first link.” LMAO.

Just remember that shouting "get off my lawn" at the computer will never fix things :)

It may not fix things...
…but I sure feel better, :)

Broncos Imagine having two young tackles (Ryan Clady, 22; Ryan Harris, 23) playing in front of a quarterback who puts it up 35 times a game; then imagine those two blockers surrendering a half sack apiece through 12 games. Believe it.
Outstanding quote! Makes you realize exactly how fortunate we are to have one of the most dominating passing games in the league and still be able to rest assured that we are set for the next ten years, barring injuries and off-field issues (I’m looking in your general direction, mr. Marshall). A new slot-reciever, a guard and an already-drafted center to pan out – and we’re ready for total domination for the next decade…
The 2000-and-teens will be sweet offensively…

And this was one of the concerns
coming into this season and boy have they gone above and beyond what I expected out of two rookies on our O-line.
LOVE IT!

A fantastic proof
a series of 3 great drafts can turn any offense around from being in-creative (is that a even a word?) and veteran-laden to young and sparkling!

Now all we need to do
is have a defensive draft like that.

yes
this was a major concern going into the season, with the 2 “rookies” at tackle, hamilton and nalen coming off injuries, and kuper switching to the right side. they’ve been outstanding, and the run-blocking is starting to show effectiveness now. again, wiegmann saves the day, though, and i was ecstatic when we got him. harris has been a big surprise to most of us, as well as he is playing. with a solid o-line, you have a chance in every game. the most important unit on a football team, bar none.

Simply unbelievable.
I have been a regular NFL fanatic for about 35 years. I have never seen nor heard of such a phenomenal performance by an offensive line in the first year or what is basically a brand new line, while also starting basically two rookies.
An unbelievable job by the players and coaches in this regard.

DC...
Agreed.
I have been down on some of our coaches for sure but Rick D needs some love for sure.
Great point!

I've got to agree with you both.
This has to establish Rick Dennison as one of the top o-line coaches in the league. And to think, he started out as a merely passable line backer here in Denver. I’d be the first to admit I thought the move was a little suspect when it happened. Apparently Shanahan has a good eye for coaches too.

I believe Rick
has an engineering master’s degree, no small feat. Shanny has expressed shock at the fact that a guy like Rick is even available to be a coach, and not off building epic bridges or skyscrapers or something…
