And a moment of silence for Darrent Williams.

A moment of silence for Darrent Williams

Hopefully the Broncos org or fans do not have to go through anything like that again in any current or future year.

Victor Frankl:

What man actually needs is not a tensionless state but rather the striving and struggling for some goal worthy of him. What he needs is not the discharge of tension at any cost, but the call of a potential meaning waiting to be fulfilled by him.

Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms – to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.

Happy New Year my friends!

I wish you all the best for yourself and your families!

I never forgot D-Will, he will always be a part of my life, so to speak!

Here’s hoping that our WILL on D did not die with him…

Yeah

Darrent Williams’s death was a big blow to my psyche at the time it happened. I’ll never forget rolling out of bed that morning and firing up ESPN.com like I usually do and seeing the headline that he had been killed. I’ll never forget the pain I felt or how much he meant to me as a source of personal inspiration. I was never lucky enough to meet him, but I respected everything he was about and he was quickly becoming one of my favorite Broncos since Ed McCaffrey.

I’ll always appreciate what Williams meant to me, and every New Year’s I’ll remember him.

Happy New Year to everybody at MHR.

As always I will remember D-Will at this time of the year.

Let’s hope 2009 is better for all of us as well as the Broncos organization.
