Consistency of the Yards
Here I have attempted to create a better break down of the yardage gained by RBs other than average yard per carry
Heres a graph [i couln't get it to show up,if you know how please tell me!!]
Consistency:
Running for 2 yards
- HILLIS: 100% cosistency
- BELL: 64% cosistency
Running for 3 yards
- HILLIS: 75% cosistency
- BELL: 36% cosistency
Running for 4-5 yards
- HILLIS: 63% cosistency
- BELL: 27% cosistency
Running for 6-11 yards
- HILLIS: 50% cosistency
- BELL: 18% cosistency
Running for 12+ yards
- HILLIS: 25% cosistency
- BELL: 9% cosistency
*not shown Bell running for 1 yard 73% Consistency and 0 yards 100% Cosistency
Once i get the images to show up i can post another graph of the runner's consistency. Also to note is the limited data sample of the players-
As you can see Hillis's consistency is notably higher and has a much slower drop off rate, almost the opposite of Bell's. Hillis can be relied upon with good consistency to gain 3 yards while on the same token Bell can only be relied upon with good consistency to gain 1 yard.

Hey RIG
Need to remember that Bell came in and had to play the scheme that was drawn up for Hillis in regard to the running game.
The only negative i had to say about play calling was trying to use Tatum up the middle when that is not his strength. As soon as we gave it to him on a sweep he makes 28 yards.
The run game this week will be drawn up around more of his strengths….sweeps, misdirections, pitches etc that give him a chance to find the outside and bust one.
Hopefully Boyd will come in and pound it, and Tatum and/or Selvin will break some for us.
Thanks for the post man!
Those that cant coach, compete!
Failing to plan is planning to fail.
I know but im only going by the numbers
still when bell ran the ball he cosistently gained less yardage than hillis, weather its his fault or not
if i keep doing this every week the numbers will become more accurate when combined

RiG--I hate Hillis getting hurt also....I think Tatum will try his best to be the best he can.
I also remember a few years ago when Tatum scored some sixty and seventy yarders—let’s hope it happens again.
The best defense is a good defense!
And last week's young players. Yes!
