Super Bowl Game Day Open Thread!

  @

The time has come.  Will the Patriots make history or will the Giants pull of the biggest Super Bowl upset since, well, the Patriots beat the Rams 6 years ago?

I have made my prediction - Patriots 34-20 - now you make yours.  Put your thoughts about the game and who you think will win in the comments!

I will be enjoying Mojito's and tons of food, so until we talk again have a wonderful Super Bowl Sunday!

In the lowest scoring
Super Bowl ever, the Patriots win 6-5 over the Giants.

Nah, I'll go Giants 27-24 by way of a Lawrence Tynes game-winning field goal as time expires.

I am most interested in the FAs and how these
teams will draft.  Those actions have the biggest  impact on Denvr's offseason actions.

I am not interested in either of the teams, with the exception of seeing how Hixon does.

QBs should not be charged with INTs when WRs
can't hang on to perfectly catchable balls.  Steve Smith had the pass in his hands, bobbled it and then Manning gets charged with an INT.  Ridiculous.

During the Chuckfest in Chicago Cutler threw a pass right on the numbers to Marshall's spot, but Marshall slipped due to the mud and rain and his high center of gravity.  The opportunistic CB, Nathan Vasher, got another INT.  In no way was that Cutler's fault.

The only time all season I wanted the Pats to
score and they let me down.  If they scored a TD with no time left and were not able to kick a point after I would have won $300 in the board I am on.

Oh well, at least my board picks made the game interesting.  That helped since I have no interest as a fan in other team.

Congrats to the Giants!
I'm ecstatic to see Eli win a Super Bowl; I've been a fan of his since his days at Ole Miss. Years from now, we'll probably say the play in the fourth quarter when Eli avoided numerous sacks is the defining moment of his career, and for Tyree as well since that was an amazing grab on the play.

I made the mistake of
scheduling some chores for during the Superbowl....

Obviously I got nothing done, as I was riveted to the screen...
