Defense or Offense, Which is the Way to go?
Okay, I've got to jet rather quickly here, but I think this deserves some consideration.
With the new post about salary cap up, it got me thinking, which side of the ball is going to be more valuable to lock up and secure now, then risking it then. Do we go with the stud young qb or the shutdown corner?...
Personally, I'm an offensive guy and there are some options in the draft and trade that would leave Cutler in a great position...
Same thing on the defensive side. We have or own guys who may be leaving so what do we do now? There, as well, are some guys out there in the draft and via trade...(JASON TAYLOR!!!)
With that said, which will be more important to stockpile for the Denver Broncos 3 years from now? I hope this will open up some debates that are friendly as to which side is more important to us in this day and age with what we have in place.
Discuss amongst yourselves.
(Keep in mind, guys to "mentor" are always options and Culter needs weapons to succeed, but then again, so does the D.)
Hopefully, we can figure out what we as fans think.

Hands down, Offense.
We won back-to-back Super Bowls with an average defense. ;)

Good issue.
Call me a chicken, but I'm not going to take either position. I think we need a balanced approach. We already have an excellent offense that is built on youth. Our defense should be much improved, but will need some youth not too far down the road.
With 9 picks now (thank you HOU) we have the ability to get some padding on both sides of the ball.
