Now that the cream of the crop of players is pretty much gone. Denver has yet to bring in players in which I think will make a difference. Our two signings have been pretty much insurance and not impact players. Here are some guys that I think Denver can still make a run at.
Wide Receiver
D.J. Hackett
This guy had a pretty much injury riddled season last year but when he did play his numbers were very decent. He's fast, reliable, and gets open. He also can catch unlike the Seattle receivers of the past. Downside is injury problems but i feel he would fit well in Denver.
Safety
Hamza Abdullah
We all agree this guy should get signed and I am pretty sure he and foxy will stay in Denver and hopefully they do.
Oshiomogho Atogwe
This guy is a stud and he had 8 INT las year. He is a ball hawk type safety. His upside is he is still young with just 3 years of experience. That bad news is he is a Restricted Free Agent so I don't know what St. Louis has planned for him.
Linebacker
Michael Boley
I don't really know much about him except he is a RFA and ESPN.com gives him an 80 overall grade which is really decent because Lance Briggs was an 81.
Boss Bailey
I really hope Denver signs him. I think it would be something pretty awesome to see both Bailey brothers competing with eachother on the same defense. A defense that I feel will be much much better in 08.
Kicker
Jason Elam
For crying out load Shanny keep the guy in Denver there is no one else out there. I think everyone agrees with me on this.
