Ahh good.
We had better win the game too...last thing I want is to start off the season being harassed by a bunch of zealous Raider fans.  They are the worst gloaters on the face of the Earth...but then again, I guess you have to be when you team is this decades laughing stock.

Game 1...
might be the best time to get them...If you are going to face a young, talented QB with little to no experience that is the time....

That game involving the Packers
is going to be one massive love-fest towards Favre . . . not that I'd expect anything different.

ProFootballTalk
Had the info about the Vikes-Pack game earlier.  They already had a couple comments about a Favre drinking game, but I know my liver couldn't handle it.

Somebody there had suggested Denver-Oakland as the second MNF game, but they also suggested another divisional game for Sunday night (instead of Indy-Chicago)

This sucks.
Not only is it opposite the Vikes-Packers in MN, but it's game 2, which means it's only shown locally.

Bummer.

Or so I'm told.

I'm pretty sure...
...Monday Night Football is shown nationally, isn't it?
100%

My bad...
I thought they were going to be played simultaneously. The Vikes-Pack are on early, then Broncos-faders later.

Kewl.

Or so I'm told.

it is ESPN.....
they should show both.

WHOOOO
I might just have to go to this. I still have a buddy down there in the Bay Area (lives in the Fremont area right by the BART line that goes to the stadium). Fly down for the weekend and hang out for a couple more days!

Hey Darin
Have friends in Oakland do you? Gonna spend an extra couple of days in Oakland are you? Going to take in the sights of Oakland are you?

Exactly what kind of Bronco fan are you?

Have fun getting stabbed at McAfee when we kick the crap out of the Oakland Silly-Ninnies.

hahah
Thanks for the laugh! I don't actually know anyone in Oakland (Fremont as I said upthread). I used to live there as well, and have been to a few Den/Oak games. My buddy's a Bronco fan too. Scary stuff at McAfee. No, I'm not brave/stupid enough to wear my Broncos gear.

Hey Darin
That's cool, I was just kidding anyway. I actually knew a guy who wore his gear to a Fader- Bronco game and they made him throw his jersey in the trash.

It's all good
I didn't take it seriously, I did laugh at your post, because it's darn close to the truth! My first Faider game was a SD/Oak game, so I didn't have a stake in the game (other than wanting Oakland to lose, of course). Saw enough that day to know better than to wear any Broncos gear!

Game will be show after the Vikings v Packers
On the East Coast that means a 10 PM or so start time. Definitely taking a day off from work the next day.
I wish Woody Paige was our coach

In Alaska, the late game will start at 6 PM
so if you want to be fresh the next day feel free to fly to Alaska to watch the game with me.  Jet lag might be an issue, oh well, can't win them all!
