Today's the Day
Boss Bailey is in town as well as safety Marlon McCree. I'd personally like to see them lock up both of these guys before they leave town. Bailey REALLY wants to be in Denver and McCree has said he's narrowed his choices to Denver or Buffalo and would like to make a decision by Friday.
Anyone else have thoughts on this? Again, it looks like the Broncos might spend 8 draft picks on defensive tackles.

I would prefer locking both of these guys up
I think we only use 4 draft picks on DT...we do need a WR and S too. ;) I still hope we use our first rounder to nab a franchise RB.

I had the same thought
The Elam situation is confusing to me, especially having witnessed the Vikings for years not be able to find a reliable kicker and what it cost them (ummm, trip to Super BowlXXXIII?). I know he won't be knocking down 63 yarders anymore, but still...
You caught the tongue-in-cheek, eh? Seriously, though? RB? Who'd you have in mind?

Clinton Portis was a 2nd rounder,
My reasoning is, I am tired of waiting for Shanny to win the lottery in the later rounds. I think TD was a fluke, we can find "good" running backs, but not "GREAT" running backs in the late rounds.
If we want another TD, we need to draft HIGH to get another TD. We won't find one in later rounds. We land a franchise back now, we'll be Super Bowl Champs by 2010! We will never be SB Champs with Travis Henry...I guarantee it.

The draft.
It makes sense up or down, but not here.(12). you have to go one way or another.
