I am on full Dan Connor watch. I do not see Denver moving to take him, so it’s just interesting to see who snags him.

How will our AFC West rivals do? I think KC has 3 picks in the third, raiders none, not sure about SD.

Third round going slow? I slept in until 7am today and only 5 picks so far after an hour and 15 minutes??

There goes the one fullback I like, and he’s headed to San Diego, who traded with NE to get him.

I guess they really miss Lorenzo…I wish Shanny missed Griffith as much :)

Reggie Smith, a guy mentioned by another poster early this morning, was just snapped up by SF.

Marcus Harrison, Pat Sims and Red Bryant.

trade some picks for higher picks next year. But everyone has some good names too.

I’m less about “who” than “what”. I really want a DT or two, maybe one more OL, a back-up at MLB, or a RB.

I think Denver is going best available at this point though.

RB and TE with the last two picks… solid stuff.

Graham has 6 years of wear & tear, Nate Jackson from tiny Menlo State has 5 years, Mustard is another “feel good” story but who will be there 2-3 years from now when we should be making a deep run in the playoffs?

Draft a project to challenge either Jackson or Mustard, 2-3 years of development while Graham wears down and Scheff learns to block sounds like a good fit.

Now I hate the Chiefs

and I think it’s a great fit. This is exactly the kind of situation Crable needed to land in to best take advantage of his skills.

Mayo and Crabble… the LB Corps is getting younger and they got a CB they wanted. Solid, solid draft so far.

They’ve had a rough time, missing all of the guys they had targeted on day one.

You know, I think Denver has already improved during this reloading season. oak did too, even if they are going to get in salary cap trouble. KC has clearly improved for the long term. SD hasn’t done much, but they are already good.

It looks like the AFC is back.

As much as I despise our division rivals, I still want to see the AFC West be a scary division again.

I had an enormous mancrush on Wheeler and had he lasted until the 4th and ended up in Denver, it would have been a great steal. He was an absolute monster at GT.

Cincy sure isn’t drafting like a team expecting to keep Chad Johnson…

He would have been worth a 4th round flyer for us, oh well..

We have Nalen, but he’s an injury risk (he’ll retire at te end of the season anyway). His back-up (Weigmann) is a great back-up, but nearing retirement too.

I think OC makes a lot of sense.

Frankly, kicker or punter don’t sound so bad either (for competition in camp). Brooks looks good at punter.

Is anyone interested in scouting college players for Denver for next years offseason? My think is I was not too much aware of our WR pick and therefore was a bit more dissapointed than I should have been. My thought is ( I am gonna post a fan post about this tonight) is that maybe one or two guys take each big conference and break down each weeks best and then in the next reloading season we pull together the guys who would fit the Denver System? Anyone interested?

Maybe being from Missouri St. gives KC a home state scouting advantage. Lindys’ says he is willing to go over the middle and take a hit and can be physical blocking CBs. Sounds like a keeper.
