Denver Broncos Scouting
ASo I figured I would post this while everyone is still in Draftevis mode. I was wondering if their is anyone out there who would be interested in Helping me scout College football for players that would look good in Blue and Orange. I know its not a very fun thing to do but there are some of us who breathe football regardless of who is playing. My thought is if we get enough people to d it we can split up the conferences and divisions and hopefully we have enough that the next time we get someone who wasn't on anyones radar we know a little more about them. Any volunteers? All that it would entail is making sure the teams you cover get a fair shake at who would contribute well in Denver. Are they big receivers? are they fast lineman? We would have a whole list of guys on the radar come next year! Here are the ones I would definately like to cover:
ACC (12 Teams)
Big 12 (12 Teams)
Big East (8 Teams)
Big 10 (10 Teams)
CUSA (12 Teams)
Independents (4 Teams)
Mid America (13 Teams)
Mountain West (9 Teams)
Pac 10 (10 Teams)
SEC (12 Teams)
Sun Belt (8 Teams)
WAC (9 Teams)
We could go D-1AA if we get enough people but I am not counting on it. Let me know if you are interested in helping contact me via e-mail or thread it at the end of the post!

I would volunteer, but this next year will be my first time
ever caring about watching College ball. This draft experience opened my eyes to how important college football is.
I can’t even tell you which teams are in what division or conference or whatever. lol

It will be my first year setting out on a few schools so
I think it will still be fun

I can try to help out...
I go to North Carolina State University, so I see games with 8+ ACC teams each year, along with a couple of other assorted teams (South Carolina this year!).
I’m usually more focused on what State is doing, but I’ll try to keep an eye on the other teams, and at the least pick out targets for further research if that would help you out.
My school is in the Atlantic Division, so we have a game against: MD, Clemson, Boston College, Florida State, and Wake Forest each year, along with games against UNC and two other teams from the Coastal Division (Duke, UNC, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Miami and Virginia).
I guess what I’m saying is that I’ll take the ACC, but I can’t promise I’ll be much of a scout so if someone else would prefer it then I’ll defer to them.

Excellent
It would be a lot of highlights from each game so to speak and who stood out to you as someone who could don blue and orange.

I live on West Coast
So I could HELP with the PAC-10, and I like Kansas, so Big 12 also. Then again, I’m the one who wanted Jackson over Royal, so if you want me or not…
Side note, McClinton(DT) from Kansas could be given a look as a free agent now.

UF and the SEC.
I’m a Gator and a huge fan of college football’s elite conference (my apologies to the fans of others, but you know it’s true) and I would be glad to lend my support to this project throughout.
Please check out my blog at http://thefulldeck.blogspot.com/ , now redesigned and recommited!

I can't make any promises
because I don’t get every game, but I like the Big East and ACC. If you can’t find anyone else for those, I can try my best.

I dont think any of us
will get to every game. You Tube, ESPN and a few other resources are out there to help you. I think I will be using a lot of game threads from sights myself

I'm a Penn State guy. I'll probably see every game from there.
It’s a pretty cool idea, researching players and offering up our OWN personal take on them instead of having to listen to the so called “experts.” Besides, it also brings the community together :)

I'll at least take PSU, and Ohio State's got a lot of huge prospects next season as well :-D
If you want help on the assigning research front, I’ll hook up with you and we can figure something out for next year so we have everyone watching for a while

Being in the heart of Texas
I catch a ton of UT, Texas Tech, Baylor, and Texas A&M games. Being a Colorado fan, I see all their games and having family ties to Kansas, catch most of theirs, as well. All in all, I’m for Big XII if nobody else has signed up for them yet. I can diligently follow all of the teams will surely catch some of games in person (when you live here and you’re my age, you know someone who goes to every school, so going to games is cake).

SEC and Big Ten
I see a lot of SEC and Big 10 football. I’m a Florida Gators fan, and I live in Ohio, smack dab in Big 10 country. You can put me down for the SEC East (Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Kentucky) and I’m sure I will have contributions related to the SEC West teams (LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Arkansas) and whatever Big Ten games I may happen to catch.

I was going to volunteer
to do the Mountain West…until I remembered that I no longer have cable (or a cable-like provider.) Just HD over the air…I get more done this way.
Then I remembered that it’s the Mountain West, so it wouldn’t count anyway. :o)
Slight Hijack, but along the same “MHR Scouting” theme: how many people here are planning on attending training camp? If I plan well enough in advance, I might be able to make it up for a day…but regardless, I’m sure there are a lot of dispersed Denver fans that would love to get daily TC updates!
(This probably happens already, but I wasn’t on the site for last year’s TC.)
