Around SBN: Steve McNair Found Shot to Death

Prater says he is the man for the job.

Confidence will go a long way for Prater, because we all remember his bad game.

As far as I'm concerned, when he got the compliment from Elam, and just genrally ahd Elam's blessing, I figured Prater was going to be our kicker of the future. he was subsequently cut, but now he's back, so if a kicker can have a destiny....

I think I like this kid now...

I’ll have to remember this video if I end up cursing his existence during the regular season. lol

The scary thing is, Sauerbrun took this same path with the Broncos. I hope that’s it for things they’ll have in common.

I deleted the following sentence

“Where have we seen this before?”

Not just sauerbrun, but ernster followed a similar path. I don’t know (and I don’t really wnat to know) if that is good or bad.

Mountains, forest, sea: these render man fierce, but yet do not destroy the man.

I'll take it.

But then, I would take anything at this point.

ernster better?

prater’s stats: 1-4 in the nfl
50-74 in college
he was barely over 50% in the 30-39 range, the range he will likely be kicking in the most. a little better beyond 40, but not even good. we will be better off getting someone out of retirement and going with 3 kickers, if we decide to keep him for kickoffs, ala ernster. hopefully, the guy from oklahoma surprises. this sitution will need to be addressed before the season opener, along with punter
