I love how it take 3 months......
for the main stream media to report what they new to be the truth all along. It appears that J Money thought it was pretty funny as well having someone speculate as to his weight. He just laughed it off, and his new nick name, “big boi” is a tribute to the ludicrous nature of the rumor in the first place.
Some of the Bay Area media got their first look at Run DMC on the field this past weekend at the rookie minicamp, and most are drooling in their praise of how he looks when going full speed. Don’t worry donkey fans, you will all get your first look at D Mac in Silver and Black soon enough on Monday Night Football, but its never to early to start shaking in your boots.
Javon Walker was starting at the #1 WR spot in OTAs this week, and reported that J Money throws harder than Favre. Again, if he stays healthy, lord help the rest of the AFC West, cause the chip on that mans shoulders is huge after the cold shoulders he got from the rest of the league this off season. Of course, if he gets injured, you can all say “I told ya so.” At least the chances are good we will get to see him on Monday Night too. I mean, it would be pretty hard to get seriously injured before then (I hope!), barring some freak camp injury (happens all the time actually, um…...crap!). Still, if he stays healthy, the sky is the limit!

i hope your team all comes out healthy....
i want a team at full strength to see how good either of them are.
fader nation is a conquered nation
I hope they do void the CBA. And I hope the faders declare bankruptcy.
I’m out of here for the next day or so. I’ll be out in a national forest drinkin’ beer, shootin’ guns, and fishin’ with about thirty other people.. Some of you may think that is irresponsible, but we are all very careful and guns are only allowed in a single designated shooting area.
The government has yet to outlaw this type of thing…in fact its probably only a matter of time before they take this and every other freedom away from us gun toting patriots. ;) lol
Anyway, talk to you all later and hopefully no major news breaks until I get back. ;)
You know whats funny about that........
The conservatives, or should I say Republicans (as very few ‘elected republicans’ can be described as real conservatives), whom are supposed to believe in less government, are the ones that began this new set of attacks on our personal freedoms. Sure, 9/11 had a lot to do with it, but I think everyone can see some 7 years after the fact that the Patriot Act and other post 9/11 legal provisions were ill thought out.
Shoot that Gun!! But be careful when talking about it on an overseas phone call…......

Let's keep politics out of the threads.
Nothing on you OFS. It’s just an invitation for trouble, and not really topical to the thread. Zappa brought up a hint of politics in passing, but I really would hope that we don’t follow on by expanding into differing areas of political, theological, or personal argumentation. Let’s keep it on football.

Jeezus Zappa!!
Even in Talkeetna you gotta give your gun to the bar tender when you go into a bar. If an uncivilized place like this can figure out that guns and booze don’t mix, so can you. You be careful. I don’t want to be makin’ any posts referring to the late Zappa.

This wasn't my first time out in the wild.
Booze and guns mixes fine when you shoot in the morning and afternoon and drink at night. ;) Besides, we had a strict ex-Marine around to make sure no one did anything moronic.
