ESPN - Ex-Pats employee Walsh sends NFL video of Pats' taping - NFL
The Patriots Could Be Seriously Screwed -- The New York Times obtained a list of the Walsh tapes, and the league confirmed that list, which says that the Patriots taped offensive and defensive coaches in regular-season games against the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns and San Diego Chargers. The team also made video of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2002 AFC Championship Game.

Just when I'm getting over my anger at NE.
Ok, I thought their punishment was light. But the season is over, and they lost the SB and blew a chance at undefeated super-legend status. They also lost a 1st round pick. Start over, right?
When I heard that they might have taped the Rams practices before the SB a few years back, I got mad again. The Commish even said that if this panned out to be true it would go well beyond what NE was already in trouble for. Now it turns out that they taped a team in that teams AFC appearance, as well as several other teams.
I wonder if these regular seasons taping came after the sanctions. If not, as much as I dislike what the PATs did, perhaps it is water under the bridge by now. But I’m also bothered that they also taped offensive coordinators too.
To me, a big part of this mess is integrity. Belichick should have just fessed up and taken his lumps and moved on. Stating that he didn’t understand the rules was garbage. (He was caught and scolded years ago for the same incident, same film guy – Walsh, at a GB game).
Ok, that’s off my chest. I’m heading off to read the article and going to bed. Night all!

He did fess up a bit at the end of this season, and apologized...FINALLY
Besides, at least the Broncos TOOK EM OUT in the 2005 Playoffs. Champ Bailey interception! Videotape THAT Patriots!

Hmm.
Couldn’t agree more, HT. It is about integrity.
Call me a cynic, but it’s convenient that Walsh kept mum long enough for the Pats to take advantage of their high draft pick this year.
So, with that in mind, if a fine and a loss of a 1st round draft pick was for one tape/one game, does that mean it’s quintupled now? Heh. This is getting so preposterous-and yet, foreseeable-that I can’t help but laugh at the mess.
