"I feel totally different. I feel like more of a, if I can use the word, beast. I feel I can do a lot more than last year. Now I know I can do it. It's not, 'Wow, I really did it.' I knew I could do it before. Now I expect to do it."

He certainly isn't lacking confidence.

I’m more excited than skeptical, but we’ll have to wait and see him play.

I think he needed a full season of success and for the most part, his

rookie campaign was quite successful. 700+ yards isn’t bad for a rookie undrafted FA. He seems ready to explode onto the scene.

He certainly sounds ready.

If a little arrogant. lol

It’s bad karma to call yourself a “beast” in my opinion.

lol its okay

I’d like your “spiel” anyway. At least we made it a good point not to duplicate the “beast” quote :)

I choose to pick up on the quote that shows Young's desire to be great...

I just liked the word "beast" lol

Maybe you found a more important one there…I guess I found the overconfident one :P

Yea...the arrogant remarks do annoy me a little...I am anxious to see what happens

when the “metal meets the meat” so to speak.

IF he gets 2000

yards this season then I am going to call super bowl appearance. If we are a committee system and he gets 2k someone else got around 500-800 and Cutler put up anywhere from 3000-3800 yards through the air. That also means we got about 50-800 touchdowns which i am also ok with! what does this boil down to… probably 14-2 15-1 and a ring! I say lets do it but I have a feeling 2000 yards is a little out of reach THIS season.

Until Terrell Davis makes it into the Hall of Fame, I refuse to acknowledge the existence of such a place other than the Ring of Fame at Mile High!

A RB typically needs 3-4 seasons to progress into

a great running back, if they even become great. But I can think of very few runners that start at the top…it usually takes a few years to get to the top of the mountain.
