MLB?

I know that Niko and Nate Webster are battling it out for this position...I am very confident that whomever wins this battle will play well. Always thought Nate Webster had the passion/ fire to play MLB for us not even speaking of it being his natural position and I'm excited to see how Niko performs...but my main question is what happened to Jordan Beck. Is he strictly special teams...is he even going to make the team. Last year when we picked him up, I heard alot about his good play and how he has the skills to be our Mike LB, but what happened to him...is he on the radar at all?

Still on the roster

Beck is still on the roster and wears Tom Jackson’s old #57 jersey. At 6’2” and 233 he looks slightly small for MLB. You raise a good question though, What happens if K2 and Webster go down?

I think it depends on Larsen and Webster more than Niko.

I think that Niko wins the start, and then it comes down to where Webster goes. If Webster backs Boss Bailey, then Beck is competing with Larsen for a back-up role. If Webster backs Niko, then Larsen and Beck migh compete to back-up Boss.

I’m making two major assumptions though. I’m expecting Niko to start at MLB, and I’m expecting Webster to make the team. I doubt that Beck and Larsen both make the team (as DJ and his back-up Winborn look very safe to me).

Just my opinion. I’ll bet there are some solid opinions out there different from mine though!
