I really don’t like to call people out like this but Lindsey Jones from the Denver Post is just killing me right now, killing me. I know she is new and maybe she will get better as time goes on, but as things stand right now it is hard for me to take the DP’s coverage of the Broncos’ seriously. You would think with how popular the Broncos are, that their coverage would be high profile, but maybe not so much…

I left a post on Lindsay's blog the other day...

and I told her exactly what I thought about her sports journalism skills. As many of you know I don’t hold back. Anyways , all of my posts were censored even though there was no negative language used. I guess the DP webmaster didn’t want her to get her feelings hurt.

I basically told that sea hag to go bake me some cookies and find someone who knows something about football. Who would have thought I would be longing for the days of Bill “porkchop” Williamson.

Bill looks like he likes to eat bacon.

Michael Fabiano really knows nothing about football outside of regression analysis and stat extrapolation. If it doesn’t have to do with fantasy football, his opinion is worthless.

I feel your pain. Man, I am to the point where I hate to read the Post. The articles seem to be a criticize bronco post, or bash Shanny. Then the commentors are the most vile and uninformed bunch of dopes anywhere. They make ESPN commentors look smart. And thats saying something. I just feel the post is trying to get their writers to be like Russo in NY or that moron you are familar with Mariotti (Who BTW had a feud with Paige here in Denver and got run outta town). Its pathetic. If I was the Broncos I would not grant access to anyone from the Post, its not like the articles would suddenly turn bad.

HT - Long time browser - First time poster...

Over the last year, I think I have read every drop of news from this site. I check it daily and usually more than that. Before I stumbled upon it, I was reading the crap from the newspaper sites. For us out of state fans the “sifting” from the MHR faithful is a fans dream come true.

What is the name of the waterfall in your avatar?

Is that the lower falls on the east side? It looks just like a waterfall I climbed beside in yellowstone (your sig makes me think it is one and the same). There are several 5.10s and 5.11s on the right hand side of the falls, including a 5.10a that is real relaxed and enjoyable, with, of course, a great view.

and I can only echo your thoughts. I blog at times with the Post when I’m (forced into) reading it but day by day I stick with the only site like it that I’ve ever found. Thanks to all at MHR – staff, writers and fans
