lol! Listening to the podcast...
My disclaimer is that I am married and I would never condone beatin’ on a woman. I’ve taken a few blows from the wife and done NOTHING in retribution. It takes more of a man to show control…I KNOW I could seriously injure my wife, but what is the point of physically hurting someone you care about???
But yes, I am willing to overlook the past…let’s just not hold this over his head forever.
lol, Guru…you got my voice down to a T. :P

Dude. The Helicopter Spin play didn't really affect me much at the time...
I was pumped up and excited for him, but I was more concerned with the next play. Get that TD baby. The Helicopter play was immortalized LATER…at the time it was a big play but at the time I was more concerned with the next play. It was until LATER that I realized how important of a play it was..
The Drive was a compilation of plays that at the end of it there was no doubt how significant the The Drive was.
Just my two cents…I just wish I was there to chat it up last night!

You were right about that Helicopter play encapsulates what Elway was as a football player...
I just hope the alien’s don’t taser us down for implying they care about football.

To me thats a defining play
Of that Super Bowl. When Elway could have slid and maybe, but probably not, gottent he first down he went head first to ensure he got the first. That showed how much that game meant to him. That pumped the team up, the city up us fans in SD up. I still get chills thinking of that play. It was awesome.

It was awesome, I'm not saying it wasn't...I just don't think anyone realizes the significance of the
play until after it was all said and done. I for one did not know that play would propel the team to victory. ;)

Well I was surrounded by Packer fans
And had dome adult beverages in me, so I made a HUGE deal about it. To me at the time it was awesome. You are probably right looking back now it is a bigger play that I thought even at the time. But after watching 4 Bronco Super Bowls and being in the game late in the 3rd qtr I made a big deal about EVERY play in that 3rd and 4th qtr

I hear that...I lost my voice by the time the 4th Quarter came around...I've never lost my voice. Ever.
I lived in a condo complex off of University near SD State. I could see the Murph from my balcony and I had hung a Bronco banner from it and some guys were partying across the way who were cheering the Packers on.
I’ve never known many Bronco fans so it was just me at my condo and I put their asses to shame every time the Broncos made a big play…they tried to get loud, but they didn’t have a lifetime of defeat driving their voices like I did. SUPER BOWL CHAMPS BABY!

It was great
Where I lived it was at a bottom of a Hill 3 tiers of condos (USN Housing). I was the only Bronco at the Super Bowl party my kids were at the top of the hill at when Mobley knocked down favres pass they said they heard me at the top of the hill. It was AWESOME. Is it me or is the first championship the best?

Good Point
I’m listening to it right now. I thought your point on maybe the Darrent Williams bullet being meant for Marshall or Walker was interesting.

I was hosting a giant SB party
It was a Packer’s fan that said, “Watch out; Elway wants this game” when the helicopter happened. I realized it at the same moment too.
