Concerning B.Marshall...
Im not sure if these incidents have already been old news....i dont recall hearing these before...just read the article
http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_9731450
if they have not been documented before...all i have to say is WTF...what is wrong with this guy...this is too much...
Do you guys really think these instances are isolated to his ex or do you beleive that he has a real serious problem?
Another thing is why are all these incidents coming out now a year or so later...that is ver aggrevating also...

its the offseason
this is what writers do when they run out of actual stories. . they dig back in someones past and try to uncover something that will make a good headline. In this case Marshall who hasnt always made the best decisions… Once the season comes around these stories will go away

It all boils down to....
maturity. Pro athletes are held to a higher standard. Even though these events happened in March, it still shows a distrubing pattern. I don’t expect to have every player go to church on Sundays, but I would like to see them out of the police blotter.

how many more post on Marshall
is there gonna be? We are all beating a dead horse. Its clear there are 2 camps on this behind him and not for him. I am for him. As what has happened to me, I will give the benefit of the doubt.

I agree- Dead Horse
Too much! This will be my last comment on Marshall until he either makes a great play or makes another bone-head decision. I disagree there are two camps. I think we are all for Marshall. We want him to succeed as a person and as a player. None of us claim to be free of errors in our youth. (Fortunately for me my youth was so long ago there are no longer written records.) Where we differ is whether or not he will do something to hurt the team. I am sure that we all hope that he does not. Some of us have doubts. For me, I say “cut him some slack and see if he is a man of his word.” And that’s 30.

There is a clear pattern
here, extending over several years, mostly involving his (former?) girlfriend who obviously knows how to push his buttons – and he obviously does NOT know how to deal with her properly.
But he is still young, and it would be a waste of talent to jettison him at this point. Shanny has shown a great deal of patience and loyalty with his players over the years, and it appears Brandon may have one more chance.
We have the perfect mentor for this kid already on the team- Michael Pittman. MP had a years-long, well documented problem with domestic violence/abuse and lack of self control – to the point that he rammed his wife’s car with his Hummer, pushing it off the road, while his wife AND CHILD were in it! This resulted in a league suspension. Since then, he’s kept to the straight and narrow for the last several years. He would be the perfect guy to hook BM up with. MP has been there-done that, he’s been disciplined by the league, and found a way to not only turn himself around, but repair his relationship with his wife, who he’s still with- (BM needs to dump that crazy *itch he’s been with, though). Pittman can relate to Marshall better than anyone on the team, and get Marshall started down the right path.
Having said all that, I believe the Broncos and the League need to punish Brandon for his misdeeds. He needs a suspension. He needs to lose some money and playing time to get his attention. And the Broncos can use the time to fully evaluate their deep receiver class and see where they stand without BM.
IMHO

Does anyone find it strange
that this girl and BMarsh didnt have any reports til after he got drafted, yet they have bin seeing each other since the 8th grade? I think hes being played. This girl sounds vicious, most of the reports filed were at his homes, like she was the one seeking conflict.

Typical.
Shawn Chacon pushes his GM and he’s released the next day. Manny Ramirez pushes a travel secretary and he gets no disciplinary action against him whatsoever. Why the discrepency? Well, Manny’s a future Hall of Famer and Chacon is your garden-variety nobody. Teams’ and fanbases’ patience with players is directly proportional to how replacable they are. Right now, we NEED Brandon Marshall, so he’ll have plenty of backers. If the Javon Walker Experiment had worked out and he was still a productive Bronco, I think we’d be reading a lot more trade possibilities about B-Marsh. No offense to anyone, of course, it’s just fan nature.

Chacon
Well he has been with 4 teams in the past 4 seasons and has an era of 4.99. PLUS Manny did apologize (though the act is totally wrong) I have not heard a peep out of Chacon.
