Jones?
Rooney is the best, no doubt. The Steelers are the NFL’s flagship and there’s no shame in admiting that. But Jerry Jones getting 4 votes?! Really??? Democracy sucks…

Bowlen is great.
He let’s the football people run football, and the front office people do their own thing. He also stick his nose in and try to micromanage things. He hires the best experts that money can buy, then stands back and let’s them run things. While some owners try to be bigger than the teams they own (Jones, Davis, Snyder), Bowlen let’s his work speak for itself.
We are very lucky fans to have Bowlen on our side.

Thats why I always thought he was one of the best
He lets the football guys run the team. He isnt trying to give his input where its not needed.

How did Al Davis not get any votes?!?
This is an outrage! He is the best owner in the league. Was this because he cheated Oakland out of an NFL team and then turned around and did the same thing to Los Angeles? Or because when he left he “raped the city of $500,000,000, sending the city into bankruptcy and leaving the school system in shambles?” -Wikipedia. Or because he single-handedly disassembled the best team of 2002 and forced it into 6 years of suckishness with many more on the way? Maybe hiring Randy Moss, Javon Walker, Daunte Culpepper and Inmate 3305701 were bad ideas, sure, but other than all that he is hands down the best owner in the league.

Did anyone else see
In the article about the “Dirtiest player,” Mike Sando claimed Al Wilson was a Packers CB. I assume he meant Al Harris, but can you really be inattentive enough to miss that when you’re writing for the biggest sports news organization in the world? (Then again… it is ESPN…)
Also, can anyone tell me why so many Broncos players were interviewed? In the three-article seriesthing the writers had quotes from Lynch, Stokely, and Bailey. Why is that?

I can't talk.
I’ve made some doozies in my time writing at MHR. Perhaps the difference is that the MSM writers have plenty of folks to catch the errors before publication.

Rooney is a good choice
Bowlen we love just because…with good reason.
Al should have got at least one vote.
Years ago, when Al was sane, He looked at details at the little parts of the game. He used ‘waisted high draft picks’ on punters like Ray Guy. Funny Al.
Twentysomething years ago—Rooney would still be there. Davis would be right up there with him. We owe a lot to Al Davis, with the growth of the AFC, and still hate his team. Lets not forget that the AFC’s 50th is coming up.
Let’s not make Al totally evil, “Just Play Baby” sent his team to many Super Bowls.
