that Cutler did not have the people around him that would make him a star like rivers has around him. I agree with that- look at the injuries last year——walker, Scheffler, Stokely, Nalen , Hamilton , Henry , Young , Hall besides our defense . rivers and the chargers have been lucky so far – the injury bug that has been plagueing us will catch up with other teams also and they wont look as good , <<< that is not a wish , injuries are a hard reality in the game we all love so much.

I think Jay will get credit (we all know and have faith in Cutler ) but we have to remember Jay has not yet had a winning season , it is the same old story (if Elway would have had the talent that Montana had around him ) and right now rivers has the talent around him—not rivers having so much talent himself but I believe that is what Carter was trying to say.
