Camp Report
I had a few friends at camp today and here are a few things that they noticed. Take it or leave it.
1. Hillis is a stud. They said he flattened a few poeple today.
2. Clady is going to need some work. They said Elvis blew him up on almost every play when he bull rushed. There was one play that Elvis had him so turned around that he took his helmet off. ouch
3. Cutler looked real real solid.
4. B Marr looked real gassed though he did make some great catches and the arm looked fine.
5. Djax looked really good, they didn't see him miss a ball.
6. Royal made the catch of the day along the sidelines.
ok there is a lot more but I am late for a BBQ, catch ya lata

They did not list it on the injury report ,

Awesome, just what we're looking for!
Regarding Clady:
1. Elvis is a stud. Pro Bowl this year for DOOM.
2. If you can ask your friends to keep an eye on something, tell them to watch to see if Clady is using his hand punch when a player Bull rushes. Clady relies on his feet vs. edge rushers, and tries to keep the player gassed and in front of him. That DOOM beat the “sweet feet” speaks to DOOM more than against Clady though. This should be an interesting matchup as camp plays out. If we can lets try and keep score… But for Bull rushers, Clady typically launches that hand punch right into them and stuns them. He is awesome at it. If he isn’t using it, my guess is that the coaches want him to work on his hand placement, and if he is using it but not effectively, I think he needs to step up his aggressiveness in camp.
If all goes according to plan, things should be getting nice and nasty by the time Guru gets to town!!!!

That Clady news is new.
I didn’t read that anywhere else.
Clady is known for his good feet (translation: fast lateral motion) so it’s no suprise that we don’t hear about Doom getting around him.
I don’t even mind if Doom can beat Clady a few times with his bull-rush … but to do it on a consistant basis is troubling. My one and only worry with Clady has been the level of competition he faced in college—we knew he was going to fine in term of speed, but I just hope he doesnt have any problems holding up against much stronger DEs.
Go So Cal. I am the bigger one.

Clady is learning the NFL
I look for Clady to improve as TC moves along. It is just rougher, tougher, and faster on the pro level, something to which he must become accustomed. Every rookie goes through that. He is just blessed that he has the likes of Doom to get him prepared.
I’m not worried about Clady. Once he is taught to deliver instead of receive, he will be just fine.
Regarding Fast Eddie, we just may hear about more of his catches of the day . . .

Concerning Clady...
When I was a kid they wouldn’t televise Elvis below the waiste…it just wasn’t right. I can’t think of a better anything than Elvis teaching ‘Sweet-Feet’ what the NFL is about. Clady will be fine.

Practicing against great players seemed to do Brandon Marshall a lot of good,
I would expect similar results with Clady facing that Doom bull rush. If he can learn to handle Elvis and Jarvis, handling Freeney will be less of a concern if we are lucky enough to make it to the offseason.

Doom beating Clady is good news.
It means that Clady gets to practice against a pro-bowl (in my mind) talent right away. This is the best way for Clady to learn. If Clady was kicking butt already, what would he be learning before the “real” games?

Good Call HT
Sunday’s camp, Clady has already begun to do better against Doom. Humility is the ultimate teacher.
