First off..
I want to say that I really enjoy reading the Mile High Report. If I were forced to not be a Cowboys fan anymore I could easily see myself following the Broncos. Always a physical team, Shanahan is a hell of a coach….
However, the article comparing Romo and Cutler is a bit off base.
The same could be said for comparing Romo and Cutler, who finished the 2007 regular season — the first full season as a starter for both — with similar numbers. Cutler had more yards (3,497 to Romo’s 2,903), one more touchdown (20 to 19) and one more interception (14 to 13), while Romo’s completion percentage was 64.4, a shade better than Cutler’s 63.6.
Romo’s numbers in bold are his stats from the 2006 season when Romo started just 10 games. So, a bit of sloppy journalism there.
I do however, really enjoy watching Jay Cutler play and I think he is poised to have a huge year. Let’s hope that his numbers actually do come close to Romo’s from last year (4300 yards, 36 TD), so that we can all stop having to hear about the stupid Patriots.

I am really surprised
By the lack of investigation on the Post’s part. =) It sounds like par for the course

Mentioning Sloppy Journalism and the Denver Post is almost like saying
the same word in twice in the same sentance. You will find that most of us here have nothing but contempt towards the DP. We spend a lot of our time just correcting their mistakes and setting the record straight.
My wife is a Cowgirls…I mean Cowboys fan so I gotta put up with your team more than I would like too on a weekly basis. ;) I look forward to avenging 1977 next year!!!!

This is neither here not there but...
One of my biggest concerns coming into the season is quickly becoming one of biggest areas of excitement and confidence. The Defense line just might be stellar. Think about it!!! Elvis we already know is awesome. All reports say that DRob is a juggernaut coming off the line and is causing some real havoc in the backfield. Marcus Thomas is having a great camp and is regularly blowing up blows (in camp he has been a regular presense in the backfield). These three alone have me excited. Now we just need one more DE to show up and give us a pleasant surprise and this Dline could be a real force!!!
Also…I LOVED reading the comments in the Dallas paper’s write up of Cutler scorching their D. I can’t wait for the game this weekend…bring it on!!!

ahem...I meant...
He’s been blowing up plays.
Freudian slip…hopefully he’s staying far far away from “blow” ;-).

Too funny
I read in the Dallas papers everyone is doom and gloom about the Cowboys because of what has been happening in practice here in Denver. Should be an interesting pre-season game, I am excited to see Clady go up against Ware for a half, a great learning experience and I hope the Cowboys blitz like crazy, we need the practice on protection.

I don't know if it's been doom and gloom
For the most part they’ve been reporting what happened:
Romo not so sharp, Cutler tearing it up. Which I think is good for Romo.

It's so funny . . .
I guess the doom and gloom people exist with every team. 13-3 Last year, and Dallas fans are crying and moaning over yielding a TD after a 2-minute drive. heehee
I can only hope the Broncos defense will be as “bad” as the Cowboys . . .

Sorry Broncoman
Didn’t mean to step on your toes there. I saw your comment after I posted mine.
Oh well, you know what they say about “great minds.” :)
