Let's see some success from the second team guys now

Two takes on tonight's game:
Me: "Well, the run defense is looking good. They let the Cowboys get to the edge a little too much, but they’ve made some good stops. Cutler is pretty awesome, let’s just leave that there. The defense seems to be working better in general, actually, and the run game is also improved — "

i hate to say it but he’s done… thank you spurrier
I wish Woody Paige was our coach!
let's push this to 500
So basically rag on Brad Johnson. He’s so old.
But seriously first teamers looked really solid. They shut out the “best team in the NFC”, Cutler hardly got touched.
Still not sure what it all means
Was each team playing pretty basic vanilla stuff, or was Denver playing a more sophisticated offense / defense against a basic Dallas team? It just look way too easy.

Maybe we can teach Ramsey the tackle-after-INT skill.

If it were Jay
I think I want him trotting off the field…no point in a season ending injury

Tripped by QB......ahhh man.
As the announcers were saying. His teammates aren’t going to let him forget about that one.
Hackney's running ability set that up.
Two defenders played the QB and let the receiver slip through.
Cutler fo sho.

I'm very pleased, with every aspect of this performance
Except for the miss my Prater

Agreed. They look crisp, particularly on the first team. It lines up with the reports we’ve been hearing from the practices, which makes me think it’s legit.

For those who have HBO
don’t forget to see Hard Knock next week since the Broncos practiced with the Cowboys this week as well as the game.

Hmmmm anyone want to join me in la-la-land?
Broncos broncos everywhere and all the league did blink,
Throw in a backup QB in la-la land and I'll be there.

hooper ... you are so right
I so hope That Cutler becomes a ‘be there’ Q B like Elway and Brett, We have a special team this year. I don’t think that a #2 QB will even be a something. I’m at the point that , ‘with Cutler’ we have something maybe even better
Broncos broncos everywhere and all the league did blink,
Good game today.
I am pleased more with what I saw today after last week’s game. Definatly improved. Offense getting better, now for the defense.
Hooper
you were asking about cuts above: there are two cut dates at the end of august:
Aug 26. cut down to 75
Aug 30. cut down to 53
Sept 2. set up your 8 person practice squad

Thanks!
I was thinking of Woodyard at the time. He’ll obviously make the 75. I think his odds are good for the 53, too.
