Who's Drafting Broncos? (FF)

Hey all,

Just wondering, for all you fellow Fantasy Footballers/ Broncos fans, who managed to draft their studly Broncos this year and in which round. I just had my main money league draft last night, and my heart skipped a beat whenever I thought someone else might steal one of the precious available Broncos. Especially this year- I mean we all know Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall are going to blow up, and what could possibly be sweeter than knowing that they'll pitching and catching touchdowns all year as a member of our (colorfully named) fantasy squads.

Anyway, I managed to show some restraint in my twelve team league and still nab Brandon Marshall in the 3rd round, Jay Cutler in the 5th, and Andre Hall in the 9th. I was tempted to take Matt Prater, but I got another Colorado product in Mason Crosby, and, well, the defense is just a little too scary still. Anyway, let's hear about the rest of the Broncos being drafted, and, as always, GO BRONCOS!!!

I got all the Broncos I wanted in just about all of my non Bronco leagues...

I also drafted Prater in the last round in all of my leagues. lmao I prefer drafting kickers late and only from high scoring teams…the Broncos are going to be a high scoring team this year so I figure I’ll get solid production from Prater when compared to how many kickers would have been drafted before him. ;)

I drafted Young in a lot of leagues…but he is usually #2 or #3 in the depth chart.

Funny.

I seem to remember a certain team from Sactown drafting Jay Cutler 6th overall.

I don’t have any Broncos on my teams, but that may change if the cards fall right in my official MHR league draft tonight.

this time it was Guru who drafted Cutler in the second round. I drafted Cutler 7th overall. :P

I have gone ahead and grabbed

Royal with my last pick in deeper leagues. No one really needs to do this, because he can be had off of waivers in 99% of all leagues, but I’m all in with Royal, so no problem for me!

I was gonna draft him too, but I ran out of rounds and realized I needed to draft a K, TE, Def. But as soon as one of my scrubs reveals his inner scrubitude, I’ll be all over Royal

I got all the ones i wanted

In my main league i grabbed marshall in third, Cutler in fifth, and royal in the late rounds

Everyone said i shouldnt of went with my heart but when i have a gut feeling about something i know its gonna take off

I got Selvin in every league

I’ve got Selvin in all three leagues I’ve drafted. He will be far better than the 30th back I think and if Hall/Torain takes away his carries, you can draft him so late that who cares?

I also got Royal 2nd to last round, yahoo has him owned in 10% of leagues actually. Perfect situation for a rookie wideout. Great QB, great WR opposite him, less great defense.

Playing in a dynasty league...

I was wise enough to grab Cutler, Marshall and Young for cheap last year. I am this <—> close to benching Manning, (Peyton). (Marshall will obviously be number 1 WR, though Young is still my number 3 back).

When should Torain be picked up?

I picked up

Marshall in the 4th, and was going to get Cutler in the 6th but some guy took him in the 4th because he knew I would be willing to trade for him. So I picked up Rothlisberger, then traded him and Buerelson (sp) for Cutler. I also got Schef. in the 6th. I ended up missing out on RB’s, and Stoke got picked up in waivers before my turn. But I landed Royal, Prater, and Hillis in FA. All in all, Cutler-Marshall-Scheff-Royal-Prater-Hillis.
