Putting it in Perspective
For those of us who staunchly follow the Broncos, Training Camp can be a time of giddy highs and crashing lows, trust and hope followed by doubt and ill ease. Eddie Royal looks to be the true real deal, but will McCree and Barrett revive the safeties? Is the O line solid, or are our defenders too easily held back? Can Moss defend the run - and will Boss prove out? It can strain our emotional sinews.
For those of us who are tired of the hype, peeved about the Marshall/Goodell deal, concerned about Nalen and struggling to keep perspective, there's nothing to worry about. Try visiting this link and you'll feel better right away :-) After all - you'e not a Raider fan...
Fondly, Doc Bear

Makes one feel kinda sorry
for the Raider faithful. But not too sorry.

Not sorry at all...
You think they feel sorry about Torain or MBarsh (I’m sticking with it)!
I hope JaMarcus (we need a condescending nickname…maybe…uhhhh….nope not getting anything) throws fifty int’s and McFadden is a fumble machine.

JaMarcus the Hutt.
A play on his weight.
Anyone?

I just don't know where the 'worry worry' is coming from.
We have a really good team this year. I think sometimes that younger fans just don’t know what a really really good team looks like.

Agreed
We have three tough matches to start the year, two in our division and we will be short Marshall. Still – Royal is starting to be a heck of a receiver with a fantastic attitude and work ethic and we have several other receiving weapons the outshine last year – a healthy Scheffler, Jackson, Hillis when his hammie heals (which it will), Colbert, etc. Our line is better via Clady (rookie or no, he’s a big step up from last year), a healthy Hamilton, Weigmann is a fine 2nd choice at Center if need be, Kuper looks strong, etc. Cutler looks like a Pro Bowler in waiting. I like our RB team.
Prater promises to be a lot of fun, and punting is easier when you have better field position and more first downs.
Foxy has stepped up, McCree is a better safety, we’ve got great cornerbacks and Williams is coming on. The D-line is better as well – so is the LB Corps, weaknesses or not. At every level, we’re a better team than we were. I like our chances.
Tha’ts why I put this in – it’s a small article, but the faders seem to once again be kind of adrift. When you look at the Broncos, it’s day against night.
Like you said, firstfan – not too sorry…

Character I really like this team...
Even starting out with two division games—this may also be a plus. Without Marshall we will know right away where our running game is, how good our second, third, and fourth recievers are, and where Cutler is as a ‘pro-bowler’ in the making.

Great point! It’s not lala land – it’s a coherent thought, cleanly expressed. As always, thanks, Mike

IMO
I think against the Raiders the Broncos were/will come out and run the ball right down the faders throat anyway. Use the short passing game to open up some deep strikes to Mr. Royal for a TD (possibly). Not too mention I think the fader and phyliss and her merry men will see a lot of Denver in Twin TE/WR sets. With Sheff and Graham being a focul point of the offense. Then when the Corners and safeties sneak up, TD pass to Royal. I am willing to Bet Shanny has had this or something similiar in place for a while with the anticipation of #15 getting dooced
