i think shanny wants to instill more tenacity and mental toughness in this team, who is suddenly without some veteran leadership. this is shaping up to be another rough offseason, and i believe this team will fight through adversity much better this season. our depth has something to do with that, but i feel as a football team you have to overcame major obstacles to be successful. this is a young team now, and the expectations, goals, and mindset have to come from the top through the team. there is a focus and purpose pervading in denver now, and i think the playoffs are still well within reach. if the hc is confident, that has to be a good thing to hear. as long as pat bowlen doesn’t try to say anything, we should be fine
