This seems a little too facile, but I thought you folks would enjoy it since it says nice things about Cutler and is critical of Rivers.

I am in the process of trading for Eli Manning in one of my leagues for Rivers…I think I won out in that trade too. Eli throws the ball more, which means more stats. :)

but I’m thinking Rivers may surprise some folks this year. Last year Gates went down before Chambers and Jackson really caught on. I’m thinking when Gates comes back, Vincent Jackson, Chris Chambers with Legedu or Buster as the last target, that’s an awful lot of receiving talent on the field, not to mention LT coming out of the backfield.

I am a huge homer, but I also feel I am well versed and pretty realistic when it comes to the other teams. I am not sold of Phylis. I need to see how he handles himself in the first few games of the regular season. The knee injury jhas me skeptical of this year. Especially if he doesnt have Gates for the first 6 games. If his leg isnt 100% that WILL affect him. That will also let other teams gamble and put 8 in the box and force Rivers to beat them.
Then again if he is pretty healthy he could have a good year becuz who is behind him (LT)
