Cutler receiving props from Evil 4 Letter

Jay C even getting some love from Merriman and his D coordinator, Ted Cottrell.

I think even the Chargers are preparing themselves for the likelihood of a changing of the guard in the next season or two.  With our core offensive nucleus of sub-25 year olds Cutler, BMarsh, Royal, Young/Hall/Torain and Scheffler, anyone with a simple sense of football knowledge can see that we're gonna be around for a while.

We just need this season to confirm that our o-line can play together as a unit and create opportunities for Cutler and company.  The question still remains where we're at defensively but if our offense can apply pressure on opponents by putting up 24 - 35 points per game, a bend/don't break defense could be good enough to get ourselves into the playoffs until they can figure out what kind of defense they are.

Please get this season started!

SD Def. Coordinator simply preparing . . .

his team to not take the Broncos lightly. After all they have killed us the last 3-4 games, so it would be easy for them to underestimate us.

Plus, their coaches are smart enough to see that JC is the key to our team. They are all saying nice nice now, but later want to take off his head.

I just hope JC’s teammates step up and give him some time, some open receivers, and a little bit of a running game. If they do JC will still pick SD apart. Oh yeah, and we have to stop LT, and force Phyllis to take off his dress.

LOL

I’d really be fine with Phyllis leaving the dress on. Thanks for the visual though!

I'm thinking he (Bill) only wrote...

….something nice about the Broncos because the Chargers were saying it.

Add Clady, Harris, and Kuper to that young nucleus too
