Joe Flacco will be the Ravens' starting quarterback in Week 1.

Matt Flynn has passed Brian Brohm on the depth chart as Green Bay's No. 2 quarterback. (I found this quite funny)

Free agent OT Willie Anderson has fielded calls from Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome and Chargers GM A.J. Smith. (The Chargers also recently signed ex-Falcon G Kynan Forney)

Packers released LB Abdul Hodge and P Jon Ryan. (The note goes on to say Ryan may wind up in Denver)

It's official

Tatum Bell is a free agent, and rotoworld think he’ll either try out for Houston or just slowly leave the game.

Maybe he’ll join the rest of the former Broncos and join oakland as their 900th RB.

lol 900th is little extreme--but I could see Al trying to hide that many 'formers' on his roster.

instead of making another post, I'll say this here...

The Broncos updated the depth chart today on their website. Pears and Marshall aren’t listed, though I understand why for Marshall. Also, Larsen is listed strictly as a FB and Royal is still the starter at both return spots.

that's odd

considering pears is the only tackle that played an nfl game that we have. does this spell curtains for him, too, i wonder? and didn’t they try larsen at fb in camp, with little success, and then switched him back to lb? very unusual, maybe the mastermind is up to something more. could also just be a clerical error or formallity, we’ll see

Chris Mortensen was misled/lied/is dumb. Joey Harrington has another workout tomorrow, and apparently did NOT sign with Baltimore the way Mortensen claimed.
